These MTB riding tips come from my own personal experience and progression. I don't claim to be an expert much less a professional. Simply passing along what's helped me in hopes that it may help others.

Speed makes it easier to go through technical trails, the challenge is to go as slow as you can possibly go without dabbing. If you're competing in a race that's a different story. Usually most riders can ride 'fast' through technical rocks and roots, but not many can go slow. That's why trial skills are the most beneficial to mountain bike riding.

Que Pasa Milton!! Appreciate the Greer tips brotha! Been hoping to catch u on the trails sometime, for a Miltonator tow!! I'm a late 40's that likes to jump, still learning and your dedicated vid helped. Still working on bike length baby gaps. Would love some more "How To" on that. Duarte's tow one time at end of mouse jumps has me wanting more!! (I'M FIRST - Yew!!)

Thank u much Milton. These are the kind of video content worth watching over and over again especially to some of us whom are barely new to the Greer Ranch system. A breakdown and a FullPull. Thank you so much. God Bless.

Nice video. Good explanation of line choices etc. They really made the top more accessible with the recent changes. Before that it was really gnarly...

Yea man, it used be way gnarlier before. Maybe after a few rains the packed down squirrel catcher is gonna revert back to how it was. Either way, super fun. Thanks

Bidwell Park, is the local riding area. It is rocks on top of rocks with gravel and lava cap with rocks cemented in it. And also hard pan dirt covered in various sizes of gravel, or tons of small square-ish rocks. One simple crash can ruin your season, so its best not to miss. This video is good, showing how to deal with rocks, we dont have dirt filled in between rocks like Insidious trail does.
@MILTONATOR

Had to look up Bidwell. If it’s the one in NorCal, place looks super fun. Thanks

@@MILTONATOR Its a funny thing, its all rocks but the more you ride it, the funner it is....there are trails I dont ride. Broken bones are way more common there but nobody talks about it. a simple crash can be body altering. Its in Chico, Nor Cal.

Btw, your bike is Firebird so the travel should be 180mm? In the last drop it almost bottom out, so I m afraid my SB130 cannot handle such drop 😰
