playing white for the flashback cards with a couple of copies of ominous roost does well, faithful mending helps find your token generators fast while ditching flashback cards. Currently playing the esper variant in top 1200 mythic rn

@@Dapinus I won't post the whole list here but I don't play any discard only play 2 copies of thirst and none of the new 2 mana removal in favour of 2 soul shatters and rite of oblivion, other additions like mending, can't stay away as a 2 of and spellbinder. P.s. I've moved onto bant aggro version now

Poppet stitcher seems good with that dance card with flashback. The one that makes 2 tokens. Maybe a bant token deck would be decent

The slowlands are a lot better than the snarls, so Bant and other shard decks (which have two allied slowlands and one enemy snarl) tend to have a lot better manabase than wedges like temur or sultai. Playing white lets you run anthem effects as payoffs, too, instead of just poppet stitcher.

I don't play it as much right now because it's just not great against the meta. My advice, if you already have these cards, go for it. But if you don't, don't craft them all just for this deck. It's a solid C tier build imo. Cheers, mate!

I hit Mythic for the first time with this as basis for my deck, ive changed a few cards. -4 Duress -1Bloodchief's Thirst -1Infernal Grasp -1Check for traps +4Eyetwitch +1 Village rites +2Professor Onyx. Eyetwitches are just incredible, almost the perfect blocker. Just having eyetwitch in my opening hand lets me keep the hand. They can be sacked for more spells to combo off. So versatile in this deck. Professor Onyx has the potential to just kill my opponent when comboing off with cheap draw spells, she even lets me search for them, and she can deal with big threats if needed. I love this list so much but it's so hard to get the factory going. Always felt like I was behind in the matches I played as I had to empty to my hand to kill their creatures before I could get a Witch or Stitcher out.

Yeah sometimes you have to suck it up for a turn in order to get your creatures going, but those are always hard calls to make.

At 37:45, could it have been worth attacking with Poppet Stitcher? If you expected them to force you to trade your Poppet Stitcher anyway, a trade with Elvish Warmaster would be better than a trade with Harald.

That opponent in Match 3 putzed by playing the Liberator during their turn instead of during your turn after the Stitcher transformed. They clearly didn't digest every single word of that planeswalker's first ability.

What would happen with Poppet Factory and Skeletal Swarming both on the battlefield? Would skeleton tokens have trample?

I've been testing a Poppet Silverquill version with a focus on Inklings, blot out the sky, and dramatic finale instead of Pests (although I still have 4 of Sedgemoor Witch). Any thoughts on this? I know it takes away the inkling flying ability, but I think the aforementioned spells have some good synergy with poppet. As always, thank you for the great content.

what do you think of banning alrunds Epiphany and goldspan dragon? to me it feels like any deck in those colors is immediately at a disadvantage if they don't play those cards since they fit in almost any shell.
