4x lightning Axe 4x oath 4x Bloodrage 4x Noose 3x Lupine 4x Heart 4x Rhonas 4x Temper 3x Hazoret 3x Honored Hydra 4x cinderglade 4x Gametrail 7x Mountain 8x Forest. It's still in it's tweaking stages. However, it is wrecking face. so far UW control is the only thing that stops it. The counters this set gave blue are LEGIT lol But then again I side in Prowling Seopard and bam! Problem solved :)

You said bloodrage brawler requires you to have a card in your hand, funny thing is he doesn't. I'd expect something like him to sacrifice itself if you couldn't discard, but he just stays whether you discard or not

in a heavy madness deck it is usually helpful to have a card to madness in your hand when you play this but on turn two it is moot.

Stompy McBurn Gods is great and all, but what I'm really waiting for is your rakdos or grixis discard abuse deck. It's going to be an insane value train madness, delirium and embalmy goodness. Actually, I want to see the Gitrog deck become a thing with these cycle lands, too. Anyway, glad the music's back, and I do really like this deck, even if it plays itself.

A couple of people have suggested inciter. Tried a 3-of before I was playing Oath, and I like Oath more. Inciter was good when we had the nut draw and no other time. He's a particularly bad topdeck, too, and weak to Ballista (which is the same reason I dropped the two-of Combat Celebrant I was playing). But if you can live the dream of T1 Inciter, T2 Brawler, T3 Rhonas, you can bust heads.

Great build. I played tested a version of this build, but I decided to go with a JUND theme to get hellbent quicker. Black gives you access to more removal and also gives some synergy for being hellbent such as bloodhall priest.

One thing to note on the Bloodrage Brawler you said he requires having a card in your hand. Dunno if you misspoke or not but he doesn't require you to discard a card in order to play- if he's the last card you can just play it. Also what do you think about a Jund version of this deck adding black for removal and maybe something like decimator beetle ? One wombo-combo I've wanted to try is Consuming Fervor/Decimator Beetle. Obviously it competes with Glorybringer in the five drop slot, which is a tall order, but I think it's worth a look.

You mentioned a naya watch deck, which sounds interesting. I have been trying build a competitive non aggro naya deck and the best I have come up with is naya LD. I beat gr energy with it which to me shows that naya has some potential, but honestly I thought your naya control was weak. quarantine field is not competitive against planeswalkers. fortunately now there is cast out. I know this has been a long discourse but I want to ask. Is there a way to make a competitve naya fog deck obviously without blue because all the standard fog decks run fevered visions?

Strictly Better MtG I believe Soul-Scar Mage is the best pilot for Glorybringer. But there's no sinergy with Hazoret whatsoever, although sinergizes with the madness spells...

I feel like if they remove your guy who is ahead of curve you 're screwed for long enough for them to get in. Or what about fling in response if they try to kill your guy?

I plan to make a Jund Version of this. Black gives me access to the Delirium engine and most importantly, traverse the Ulvenwald. Which will fetch me my gods or lands. Plus, Grim Flayer can power the god and with Colective brutality it can help me empty my hand AND have a better match up against both aggro and control. Very excited to try it out.

Tested this deck, works really well. Very consistent on exit, not a ton of removal but it put insane pressure by T3. It's not a chockfull of 1-drop like Mardu vehicles, rather more massive creatures that come surprisingly early. Honored Hydra has great synergy with other cards, and a 6/6 trample by T4 is nothing to laugh at.

I'm thinking about this deck, but as someone who is currently on vampires, I'd de-emphasize the gods themselves and just be on a hardcore r/g madness plan. What about the 1/1 that taps to give haste?, doesn't replace and allows 9 T3. Also the fling manticore almost seems better than Hazoret or at least a more solid 4D though I do like Arlinn and re activates Rhonas if Minotaur dies and second main allows a serious T4 kill threat. Lastly maybe Insult//Injury

My not-wife and I have been trying this thing out and were thinking about putting in a couple of those Bloodlust Inciters. Is that too cute? Or just cute enough. Hasty Bloodrage Brawler, Rhonas, Honored Hydra seems pretty good. And it might eat a Fatal Push if they get scared of it. But you've got more natural haste in your build here with Arlinn and Glorybringer. Also, desperately want to see something done with Nissa, Steward of Elements. Seems like an awesome, complicated card. I'm trying a Bant zoo thing with her and Vizier of the Menagerie which has been pretty fun so far, but it doesn't feel like it has that competitive punch yet.

Hi Dev!!! Been trying out this deck, really having problems against Mardu and the removals. Also, so many removals on many decks I played against slow my game too much! Any tips?

I'm guessing the removal you are talking about is against control decks? If so, replace some of the removal in your deck with 1 to 2 mana creatures, that way there becomes to many targets and not enough removal to kill them all. So Flameblade Adept would be a good replacement, Bloodmad Vampire is also one I thought about, it does allow you to madness him in for 2 mana and he can activate Rhonas and crew Heart of Kiran. Duskwatch Recruiter, or Kessig Prowler might also be worth considering. Some spells might also be useful, heroic intervention can really help when dealing with removal. In fact, if you could just replace the 4 tempers for 4 heroic interventions and 3 lightning axes for 3 blossoming defense, that could help defend from removal, since you aren't going to see a lot of creatures early that are a threat when playing against control, but you would also be making discarding cards less beneficial, so maybe 3 interventions and 2 blossoming instead.

Deck seems super strong, but all this discard raises a question. Is there a reason why you aren't playing Flameblade Adept? it seems like he would just be a good turn one play that passively benefits from the strategy and has evasion to increase the speed of the clock on your opponent.

Won game day undefeated with this deck. Main decked 1 key to the city instead of manglehorn. Rhonas, HoK n Haz clearly powerhouses, the surprise power came from Arlinn and Hydra. 8/8 vig tramp haste on t5 is hard to deal with.

Instead of oath, wouldn't it be worth it to run Bloodlust Inciter? this would allow you to swing with Bloodrage Brawler turn 2 (discard hydra) then Rhonas on turn 3 and Hydra on turn 4. It speeds the deck up by one turn if not removed.

I think you should add Bloodlust inciter, a one drop that to make your creature haste in the early game. I will probably cut Arlinn Kord and add Nissa Vital force instead. She is on curve and she gives you hasty 5/5 and you can pick up something you had discarded earlier. You also need some card draws from her ultimate.

I'm glad I heard they banned Felidar Guardian in standard in the past couple days outside of normal banning announcements. They wanted to playtest using MTGO prior to Amonkhet standard in regular card tournaments. I wanted to say that the Glorybringer is an awesome card and I have a feeling it will see play in most red decks in this standard environment with the combo banned. It actually jumped in price by almost 5 bucks in a couple days after the ban was announced. Also, I am running 3 Glorybringers mainboard but I am working on a ramp hasty type deck using flings and the manticore that flings creatures which would be amazing alongside these gods! Maybe I will be able to pack a few of them. Thanks for the video now I have a couple more card ideas like that 2 mana 4/3 which would be great in my deck and the 3 mana artifact removal creature which I like as well!
