Does anyone else feel like Fender is just killing it these days?

They're great, but I'm still stuck wondering why they haven't made a Blackface Deluxe with an FX loop. It would be one of the greatest small gig amps ever.
@emcg.96555 жыл бұрын
@@shawnmcvey7789 the supersonic 22 IS the best small gig amp ever. Blackface, tweed, facemelter, loop, reverb. Thank me later.

@@emcg.9655 I worked at Guitar Center for years, I sold a lot of Supersonics. Great amp, but the clean channel isn't quite the same as a deluxe in an A/B through the same cab. Personally I play Ampegs and Laneys, but I pretty much exclusively play in 2 guitar bands where the other person plays through a Fender.

The closest thing i can think of off the top of my head is the ml212. Not a blackface but I don't think that should be a dealbreaker

I searched for a tube preamp or tube drive pedal to put in front of my solid state Hiwatt combo... I ordered a Blackstar dept. 10 and had to send it back, because I forgot that I had to have a volume knob after the boost... All the way up, it didn't even got me the sound I was going for (a dirty clean sound). I considered the AMT bricks and Vox Valvenergy, but now I ordered this one for kinda the same price that the Blackstar boost. It seems like the Fender is so much more than the Blackstar. Maybe you can ask me later if this is a good solution if you want tube warmth out of a solid state. Maybe I'll try out the other MTG distortion, but I'm more interested in the MTG trem

Would i needed a preamp for a better tone if i buyed this?
@nacaba023 жыл бұрын
I bought one, its a must have for pedal fans. Its a super cool pedal. This is for a bright amp. Perfect for fender amps. I ended having the tone knob on full all the time using a boss katana mk2. It is so dynamic you'll forget you're getting distortion from a pedal. Crank the volume it gives that open chord show off feedback you need for awesome song ending. Tight knob works well for heavy stuffs. I guess thats the benefit of using a real vacuum tube. Now the question is does this sound better than a Nu tube pedal?
