Certainly a cool commander that could finally make snakes a legitimate tribe, and I'd also like to go to Kamigawa soon. Perhaps after Innastrad we might see some news on returning to a new plane or a new plane entirely.

Given the mana ramp craziness, tapping opponent's creature when damaged and a few cards that makes snake tokens like crazy, Kaseto is an awesome addition to the orochi. imagine Kasto and Shisato, Whispering Hunter together on the field!

I would love to return to Kamigawa. The Orochi were among my favorite tribals back in the day. I still have a Snake deck to this day.

I would adore a return to Kawigama, as an EDH player I actually use a lot of the Kawigama cards. The cycle of lands which affect legendary creatures are great in EDH, as are many of the Kawigama creatures. Plus the Kawigama art was beautiful. So a Return to Kawigama be awesome.

As far as lore and design go, Kamigawa seems really cool to me, especially the various races on the plane. I think I prefer the rat people, but the Orochi are neat as well. Glad to see a race of reptiles that aren't simply bent on power or fighting, but are just as diverse as humans, elves, and the like.

I remember Kamigawa. I had a snake deck and a rat deck. Then, I sold almost all of my cards, which I still regret today. I would have built a snake tribal deck with Kaseto.

Its quite effrctive too. Kaseto makes the other snakes much more effective. Though there is a crap ton of decks that can stop these guys, it is a fun deck and for the most part effective.

ah, if only i played magic when the kamigawa block was out, because it was base on my favorite country's culture, japan. i looked at the cards on the site and i did not see any problems with the set. to answer your question, man, yes, i would LOVE to go back to this culture-riched plane.

I'd love to see a Return to Kamigawa! It was the first set I visited starting the game itself, so I keep a very dear memory of it! I do understand that the mecanics wasn't the best and you couldn't associate them with any other set, but it's my favorite plane and fun as hell to play! I hope Wizards make a new Kamigawa block, and this card do give me hope! sidenote.: I'm really sorry for my poor english :P

+bldwldr I feel like most of the complaints came from the mechanics. Unlike Innistrad, the mechanics were just flavorful and not as equally fun. Also, it focused on the legendary super-type and changed the legendary rule to the one we knew up through Return to Ravnica. If I recall correctly, every rare and mythic was a legendary. Plus, they had flip cards which I think people found confusing. I never played then, but if they mix things up I think it can be great! Although the kami vs mortal plot sounds a lot like nyx-born vs mortal. So it may be a few blocks unfortunately.
