At 8:00 you had 9 mana (2U and 7R) and 8 creatures. Mogg or Krenko's for 2, and Entwine the Goblin War Party for 7, 9 total. You end with 13 creatures with power 2, 3 blocks equals exactly 20 damage xD

I am not at the moment but I've been brewing a little in my freetime. Pauper is a lot more fun in my opinion because there are no 1 card "I win the game" spells like there are in other formats (planeswalkers for example). Makes deckbuilding more interesting.

I think that your brewing process maybe doesn't change too much, but what do you expect that opponents will have to adapt? keep up with good content and showing your joy while playing. it's contagious for everyone.

Hey Caleb, I watched this video a few weeks ago and haven’t been able to stop running it! It’s so fun when it goes off. I’d love an updated video! Through play testing I’ve cut the hordeling outbursts and added 2 more battle hymns and another goblin instigator. I’ve noticed when comboing off I never feel like I don’t have enough goblins so I may cut 2 dragon fodders for preordains. Thanks for great content!

Brady B oof, that would be a fun set up for a win with the sheer amount of goblins he’s got spawning. Might even make a cool midrange green red build with the green spells that draw creatures (goblins) and enchantments (impact tremors and maybe goblin caves mainboard? Also maybe the green journey to nowhere, lignify ;) )

The one thing which would have saved you in game 2 vs Boros Fliers would have been Swiftwater Cliffs, putting you on 4, he swinging again for 3 in the air, putting you at 1, you draw Melody, get things you need and kill him. Just one thing i thought while watching when you said "looks like we're going to game 3"

and again, same as i once told about Graveyard, MTGO helps you count. Big number under creature is untapped ones, small/orange one the tapped ones in that stack. But maybe counting is soothing for you, i guess :D

Love the video! How do you feel about a small number of skirk prospectors in the SB? I tried them and they seem like a decent card to bring in against faster decks. When they hit the board they can sometimes speed you up a whole turn on your combo (not guaranteed! It’s usually risky!) and sometimes that’s just enough to squeeze a win in

This is a very Nice deck, it is not easiest to play it, but is Nice against the 50% of the decks, against blue deck's is realy weak (not fun at all), echoing decay and echoing truth are the worst cards against the combo, i think impact tremors can help in sideboard for slowest matchs, and a couple of dispel maybe. Testing this deck i have a realy Nice time, but some times not U_U, i think manamorphose not always helps, maybe chromatic Star Will be a better option. Anyways thanks for build this, your videos always are the Best!

Goblin Grenade is a newly legal Pauper card. Deal 5 damage to any target when you sac a goblin. Much better card for the deck than Goblin War Strike.

@Mike W I don't think astrolable made creative deckbuilding easier, it made lazy deckbuilding easier. 5 color nonsense is not creative deckbuilding. There are plenty of ways to innovate in this format without a 1 mana: you have perfect mana and draw between 1 and 4 cards over the next 5 turns.

@Mike W Sorry I didn't mean like you personally were doing lazy deckbuilding. what i mean by that is astrolabe as a card was basically an auto include in almost every deck. It's like imagining if all lands tapped for any color, sure making decks would be a lot easier because you just wouldn't have to care about colors but that's just not as interesting. There's a reason why they limit what each color can do and I think it makes for a lot more interesting decks. You can still make 3+ color decks work, but you have to be a little more creative about it now which makes those decks special. Otherwise everyone would just put all the good spells in one deck. They could run 4 of the best disruptive spells (counterspell), 4 of the best removal(bolt/skred) and 4 of the best card draw engine (ephemerate + mulldrifter/archeomancer), and the best value creatures (kor skyfisher/glinthawk) which is exactly what happened.

@@CalebGannon I agree with you, I was personally becoming strained from seeing a glint hawk + astrolabe + some other bounce combo which had my opponents just playing control lock out decks that bounced all my stuff and drew them cards for 5 color good stuff decks
