I'm not a big fan of the product because it's replacing masterpieces which I love because they justify spending way too much on packs and with the $250 price tag, its not accessible to most people.

I love magic as a game. I really enjoy playing it with friends, mainly edh (which, in my opinion, is the best way to play magic right now). Unfortunately, this product clearly shows that Magic is not only a game, but also a gold mine. Personally, I don't care about Mythic Edition. It's a premium product, for collectioners, but for me it's a cash grab when a piece of cardboard, not even old like alpha or beta cards, is that expensive. The worst thing is that we don't even know how many of Mythic Edition boxes exist, so we don't know how limited they are.

Deferdus it’s always been that way though. Honestly this is the best thing for you. At least they aren’t putting it into a product you want and raising the price. This way if you want them buy them if not just ignore it

This is what I think about the product. I think that it is a good product for draft, it gives a fresh new style being able to have a planeswalker to build around. But it seems after a bit of time it has gone to far up in price to be able to justify buying. I feel if you want a planeswalker you should buy only that planeswalker.

I see nothing wrong with this product. It's old school mentality. If you can afford it, get it. If you can't afford it, too bad. I can't afford it or I would have picked one up. Adult in college problems.

I mean yeah but still thats like saying you can buy ultimate masters instead of our regular masters but we decided to choose garbage cards and have bad artwork for those cards. People would've hated uma more than they did if it was a bad card selection. Part of it is that GOR mythic was great card selection bad distribution. Wizards was like yes we like money people want this, they then screwed it up similar to from the vault, people love FTV but annihilation sucked for example. The distribution was actually good this time other than shady wotc hiding details, but the cards are like 10$ at most each.

I dig the look and the immediate value of the new versions of the cards. The packaging is really nice as expected for a higher-end product. As far as the premium paid, it's fine as long as lesser-cost equivalents will always be available for regular play.
