How does Restoration Angel help a creature survive a removal spell? If the spell goes on the stack, then her ability goes on the stack, her ability must fully resolve before the spell resolves. Her ability both exiles and returns the creature without any elapsed time between events, so the spell would still have a legal target when the creature re-entered the battlefield wouldn't it?

Interesting, so this means that when Deadeye Navigator blinks a creature it is a new object then, which also makes the target an illegal target. I just needed to know because of a game with some awkward rulings that no one seemed prepared to answer. Thanks for the responses

The coco mentions gave me an idea, have you considered doing a top 10 "mana cheat" list for cards that allow you to cast or play other cards without paying their mana costs? You'd probably have to settle on a personal definition for what should and shouldn't qualify but it could still be a pretty interesting list and I don't remember anything quite like that being done here before.

If Spell Queller wouldn't have the restriction to CMC4 or less, it would be a combo card for a winning deck. You could exile REALLY bad sorceries with it (Worldfire, anyone?) and essentially play them at Instant speed by killing or bouncing your Spell Queller.
