There is a 2-card combo in historic with Scurry Oak: "Rosie, Cotton of South Lane." Heliod is just the 2nd option.

The first treefolk i ever played was Weatherseed Treefolk....it came in a urza's legacy pre constructed deck along with defence of the heart and Yavimaya wurms... Oh what memories....😊😊😊

The zero ability in Wrenn and Seven allows you to put all lands you have in hand in play, not only one. It's absolutely busted.

Wrenn and Seven was part of a combo with Esika's Chariot to copy the tree folk token. After the chariot got rotated out I don’t remember anyone playing W&7.

Doran was part of one of the coolest Standard decks I have ever seen: Turn 1 play Noble Hierarch, Turn 2 play Doran, Turn 3 play Rafiq of the Many and then attack for 14. 😂

My favorite combo with Scurry Oak is with Cathar's Crusade. It's like it's combo with Rosie Cotton, but on a larger (and easier to use) scale. You just need to hope and pray that your opp doesn't have something like Massacre Girl to chop it all down.

Ahhh Treefolk, I've been wanting to make them as a tribal deck in EDH but honestly have just never been arsed. They're sorta in that mid point where I'm not too passionate about them, unlike "Top 10 Vintage Cards (Minus Power 9)", which I am crazy about!

The best thing about Doran decks was how they interacted with Goyf. Since Goyf has 1 more toughness than power, they usually bounce off each other forever. But with Doran in play, your Goyfs trade and you still have Doran.

I've recently tried to make a somewhat playable descendant of Astral Slide decks using Escape Protocol in Historic and well... Even at lower ranks my winrate is mixed, leaning on the losing side. Despite that though, I have to say that playsets of both Lorien Revealed and Generous Ent feel very good in that deck. Doesn't change the fact though that it would be nice for the deck to be a little more succesful, though I'm not sure what to change to make it better.

wrenn and seven is one of my green staples and one of 2 planeswalkers i like. if everything goes right i'll be able to draw 10-15 cards at once and 0 wrenn to put 5-10 lands in at once. if i have a return of wildspeaker or rishkar's exp i'm set.

I wouldn't have guessed that enough treefolk had any points to do a Top 10, and I was also very surprised to see that Doran isn't number one. I forgot about the treefolk token from Wrenn and Seven, I admit. Generous Ent though... I kind of feel like creatures that are almost never actually cast as creatures shouldn't count. Like yeah, Solitude and Fury are creatures, technically, but does anyone ever actually use them that way? Did anyone ever actually cast a Golgari Grave-Troll? Still, I suppose then you get onto the slippery slope of having to decide where the dividing line is.
