The kitesail corsair seems a pretty solid weeny flyer. The continuing trend of common unblockables for 1 is enticing. I agree that grasping scoundrel really seems like an all-star for various formats.

Grasping Scoundrel is certainly one I'm looking forward to in my pauper cube that's just been built! Such a great format, I like the mini phyrexian rager but not sure it'll make the cut for me. Legion conquistador and then Sanguine Glorifier. I’m planning on rolling those die for victory in my first pauper deck, which I’ve been inspired to make by the professor. After reviewing the card list of the Precons, I’m considering, rather than getting the new decks, to build a rivals of ixalan pauper for vampires. I think pauper is a great play style for college students, such as myself, who don’t have a lot of money, for glimmering golden standard, to still enjoy a standard play style with a lot of flavor.

Professor I just wanted to say thank you for being a pillar of the community. It is nice to watch good mtg videos that are not just someone spewing drama about what wizards of the coast did wrong that week. I'm a bit surprised Fanatical Firebrand wasn't mentioned but maybe I'm giving it too much credit. It can ping off Delvers before they flip, kill Standard-bearers so you can use your bigger burn on opponent or other big creatures, can apply pressure early and can block favourably too (potentially trading a 2 for 1 against tokens or being able to chump block while dealing damage to opponent's dome).

Wouldn't it be 6 damage to kill a death spitter with pestilence? each activation of pestilence is a different damage source. 2 total from pestilence, then 2 triggers of enrage for a total of 4 from that, then grand total 6.

My List Top 5 1 Dusk Legion Zate 2 Gruesome Fate 3 Mutiny 4 Squire's Devotion 5 Fritter Deathspitter I Really Think You Don't Give The Cards Mutiny And Squire's Devotion Enough Credit Or At Least A Honorable Mention. I Would Think Mutiny Will Being Played In Red Deck Sideboards Or Even Main Decked In Boros For Picking Off Certain Creatures. The Fact It's Useful In Against Elves And Delver For Easy For Two For One Kills Makes It A Really Great Card In My Opinion. Also, Squire's Devotion Is Exactly The Enchantment I Believed Bogles Needed Going Along With Cartouche Of Solidarity. The Fact It Gives Linklink, +1/+1, & A 1/1 Lifelinker Is Really Good For Bogles Has A One Or Two Of. Not Only Does Squire's Devotion Is Not Only Great In Bogles It Also, Has It's Place In The New White Heroic Deck That Has Been Recently Performing Well With Recent 5-0s. I'm Thinking Even Squire's Devotion Pairs Well With Seeker Of The Way Turning On Seeker's Lifelink And Making Him A 3/3 Prowess When Also, Getting A 1/1 Lifelinker Also. But, That's My Thoughts On The New Set. Seriously, Loving Mutiny And Squire's Devotion.

Unfortunately with the depth of existing cards in Pauper none of these cards will have any effect on Pauper. Sign in Blood in MBC is much better then Emo Visionary will ever be. 2 into 3 are normally drops based around dealing with your opponents early aggro. The 1/1 body when played past turn 4 is actively bad. I love you Prof, and the exposure you bring the format, and your bring up Alex U during the video. Maybe next set that comes out have him on with you to discuss new cards. He has a massive amount of pauper Knowlage and he can break things down at a much deeper level. And with a legacy format the more information and Knowlage the better.

Gruesome Fate should go in a black ree goblins deck, not really elves. Goblins are only 1 or 2 mana and can be replaced easily if others die, because of their extremely low mana cost. You can do a first turn goblin but I would recommend having atleast 5 goblins on the table, then do the spell.

I wonder if Frilled Deathspitter had one more toughness, even at significantly higher cost, it might have a place IN Pestilence. Splashing a third color would hurt, but it might be worth just making room for Prophetic Prism at that point since Pestilence often runs Kor Skyfisher anyway. Buuuut it doesn't, so it's not even worth considering to speed up the clock by just a single point with that squishy two toughness...
