This is massively unfortunate to hear that the 25th anniversary masks are suffering the fate that the deluxe edition suffered. I’m hoping I can find some in the stores later this year and they aren’t marked. But really, FunWorld should just do away with the Ultrawhites and bring back the EUs in their standard shrouds. 😞

That’s unfortunate for all those 25th anniversary masks. I have 4, and they are all amazing. I don’t know how, I just buy them and hope they don’t have blue spots, but they are perfect, like no spots at all.

My 2nd run 25th mask has no blue spots at all, and has a relatively well done paintjob. I got very lucky but I've heard from multiple people that Funworld as well as the places they bought from said that the dots are just imperfections in the vinyl, not a harmful dot of bacteria that spreads.

Someone can explain me? what is the problem with those Blue spots? and somtimes Yellow spots, why do they appear or what is the reazon or cause?

The yellowing I can’t explain for you, but the blue is definitely from dye bleeding out of the shroud material of early runs of the 25th anniversary masks and 25th anniversary robes. Supposedly Fun World has said they’ve fixed this issue with newer runs of the material from 2023 on, but I’ve yet to purchase anymore to verify personally.

There surely HAS to be a ghostface jack-in-the-box! If not, I am making one! Toilet paper tubes i find are great for cushioning the product in the box and absorbing shock. That's my tip for ya. :D

Damn. I hope the 25th Anniversary one I got on Ebay IS AS DESCRIBED in the pics. Lol. I thought the Collector's Edition only suffered from the spots. But, if Douglas says they do, that's HOW IT IS!

I actually noticed some new blue dots on mine yesterday that im positive werent there when i first got it. It does have blue dots on the inside of the mask and a bunch along the stitch line so im hoping this doesnt mean its gunna continue to spread on the mask over time.

Ive kept one of my blue stained masks in a ziplock bag with an ultrawhite for 3 weeks now. So far the blue hasnt spread on the original mask nor has it made its way onto the ultrawhite. I check it once a week and plan to for at least 3-6 months

The blue spots are actually the die from the hood. I stored one wrapped up in my cheap robe and by next Halloween it had blue spots all over it and one spot that was blue actually had a piece of the robe stuck to it

I’ve said the same thing to a few others in private. If it is the same factories making them then it does seem pretty convenient how poor the quality of the paint on these are vs the much better paint on the bootlegs. It’s a damn shame any of this is happening though.

My second run didn’t have the blue spots but it did have pink on it, around the eyes and nose. Also had the little speckles all over it.

I haven’t seen any with the pink yet! Were they by chance stored near the viper face masks? That very well could have caused it.

If you don’t see any blue dots on the exterior of your masks, just know they may have them on the inside. I got one that I thought was safe and then noticed a huge spot on the inside of the mouth.

On Tim's stream they brought up that fun world said these don't spread . Soon I'm sure we will see if they do. So far the ones I got 4 months ago haven't spread on the mask. But I'm hoping they don't. But I have pics and vids from day one and the 2 mask that have them haven't spread worse on the mask yet

I’ve heard from some people that they have already seen the spreading of the blue dots on the masks themselves, but haven’t seen them transferring to other masks. This could be because people are properly warned against storing them together these days, or maybe they just don’t do it. I do know that previous mask types with the issue has caused dots to spread to other vintage types.

I got 10 more coming so we will see if they have them. A few I got does have a little spot or 2. I got 1 from the 1st batch that has one and 1 from the 2nd batch that has them. But the other 3 I have are perfect

If you don’t keep the shroud as spread out from the mask as possible the shroud will likely bleed the dye into the mask, especially the more the shroud is exposed to heat I’ve noticed. Putting the mask onto a head bust of any kind would be the best way to keep the dye from bleeding into the mask as much as possible and definitely don’t stack these specific masks on top of each other or other PVC masks to avoid bleed through from the shroud.

I’m pretty sure the one I got was a first run. I got it shortly after people were waiting and asking about when they were shipping out to people. Was also befor everyone started posting them at high prices. Got it for like $40 on eBay after fees. But it looked good when I got it. Just noticed last week it has blue spots (looks like bruises) all over the face. Worse then yours.

I just got my 3 25th masks a store here in Australia finally got the stock and sold out in 2 days. they sent mine in a bag and the paint over sprays and one hood was stitched on off-center looks funny lol and I looked on the tags all 2021 masks. This blue spot thing is new to me ,as i dont really collect GhostFace like you do. However , i have bad OCD , & i can see wut you have goin on with those spots. ( i worked for Haynes for years ,as a Q.C. , & studied hosiery & textiles for 11 different flaws , 7 hrs a day, examining 1000,s of items.) i hate flaws. Dont get me started on my action figures !

I’m sad that there’s blue dots on both of my masks but I love the mask..the hood and smell. The 25th costume however wins this battle😭💗 the mask with the bib is my favorite and I love that it smells like vanilla as well. My masks had paint flaws aswell 😭

Nobody should have to be told how to properly ship something especially something rare and collectable like that that they were obviously asking good money for, that’s utterly stunning that they would package it in a completely non-protected paper mailer and stick the flap to the box 🤦🏻‍♂️ I’d be choked too man. I don’t know how you get so many 25th anniversary masks lol holy crap TEN??? Lol I guess they don’t put a cap on how many you can buy? Yeah I can’t even buy one lol I couldn’t find any anywhere even to pre-order one. I had to get email alerts when they show up and by the time I read the email alert they are sold out which is usually at the most inside an hour maybe. They seem impossible to get at retail or if somebody takes pre-orders I don’t know who.it’s brutal so many have spots. I didn’t realize it was such a problem on the 25th anniversary masks or that I’d have to keep them away from my collection that’s good to know I guess I should stop trying to pursue one then because I don’t wanna ruin my poly gen one or my poly bib gen two. Yeah if I can’t display it there’s really no point in getting it I don’t wanna ruin any of my other latex masks.
