Leyline actually is super important for the sideboard which is why there are 4. If opponent can easily sacrifice a creature like an opposing Neonate, we lose bridge. So Leyline makes it so creatures opponent control don't die, but are exiled instead.

I played the deck some today and it's good but the Blood Moon makes zero sense so I replaced them with Fulminators and they performed much better. Especially since they synergize with the creatures-dying plan.

Cool idea, though it seems like a (maybe?) slightly faster Dredge that dies to a stiff breeze. In addition to everything that hits Dredge, it also folds to the opponent killing their own creature (blocking, removal, Fulminator, Ballista, Neonate, etc.), regular board wipes (whereas only Anger or Terminus works on Dredge), Explosives, D-Sphere, Pulse, Echoing Truth, Runed Halo, Ratchet Bomb, etc.

The blood moon seems sketchy with 1 swamp and 2 forests. That relies too heavily on looting effects.

Blorblorb I would usually agree, but more than half the deck heavily relies on colors that aren’t red. Half the looting isn’t red, so all fetches has to hit basics the first few turns if there is any chance of looting late game with Blood Moon out.

Ernest C well yes, it's true... But the only mana intensive loot is grisly salvage, the other looters are red or have a single colored mana, so i think a blood moon is more beneficial than counterproductive in certain matchups

I very much disagree. This deck doesn't even have mana acceleration and Blood Moon only really shines when you drop it before turn 3 even on the draw.

So here’s what I’m imagining with the goal of T3 Blood Moon against Tron: T1: Fetch and/or shock and Loot which must have red and 0 mountains so must be nonbasic T2: Fetch basic and/or Shock most likely green and hopefully loot with small chance of Grisley T3: Any Land Blood Moon End result: most likely 1 basic and no chance to get another source of that color, so you have 18 dead cards like Lily and Grisley, shocked and fetched many times, and you just run out colorless stuff in hopes it’s enough since there’s a low chance you draw one out of 2 other basics in your deck even with looting. Tron just sits there and keeps playing lands until they have Karn mana while you also sit there trying to draw a land or swinging a few zombies a turn. They seem to actually be favored since their whole deck tries to no miss land drops if Tron fails, so Blood Moon would be counterproductive against the deck it’s supposed to shut down.

Leyline if the Void isn’t just for graveyard hate mainboard. It stops the “opponents creature dies” trigger on bridge. Because for a creature to die, it has to go to the graveyard. LotV is played in legacy for the same reason in bridge reanimator

while its easy to activate delirium, I found in testing it's just not that great. The gameplan for the deck is to just go wide. It doesn't have any amazing creatures or silver bullet answers in the mainboard. It's probably best kept in the sideboard, and you can use Magus of The Moon, which is a solid tutor target. Fulminator Mage also fits the deck.

Actually the total amount of low cmc discard cards together with the best delvers (one of them is Golgari Grave Troll) and Dread Return makes the Deck rediculess. I bet they rather banned those two important cards of the Deck instead of Bridge because they feared the combo of those two can reanimate by just milling yourself while Bridge is very unique and could at least create interesting decks. But it would be interesting how modern would look with those two unbanned and Bridge banned. I bet there would be more reanimation decks using both cards together than Bridge Decks currently played in modern

Because you have now added another specific card to the combo. This deck has functionally 12 of one card and 8 of the other. You have to get one of the 4 copies of heartless summoning and myr retriever in your build.
