Cool video. I'm pretty sure the price of knowledge and Seizan triggers belong to Matt so he can stack them in a way where his opponents would take more damage

Correct, George cannot decide the order of an opponent's trigger at the upkeep.

If I had a trigger and my opponent had a trigger both on my upkeep, could I order them the way I’d like then?

@@BickyNuckley you can only decide the order of triggers that you own (caused by sources you control). If both you and an opponent have triggers on that opponent's upkeep, theyre triggers go on the stack and then yours. Yours would resolve first, this cannot be changed. Triggers are put on the stack by the active player first (player whos turn it is) then the non active player. Then you resolve the stack using "last on first off".

Good video, the only thing is that the upkeep triggers are Matt's to choose how they resolve because he owns then so there would have been some damage from draw affects

Matt is the one who chooses the triggers' resolution order, as he's the one who controls them.

I wonder if Mike hadn’t full swung to kill George at the end, it would have put the pressure on Trevor to finish the job possibly taking away lethal damage to Mike.

They were both so low, I think Trevor could divert one angel to kill George and still kill Mike. There might have been a path to a different outcome with George leaves Matt alive but I think the extra damage Mike would take on his turn means Trevor still has enough damage to kill everyone, and if he doesn't/gets somehow killed by Mike that just throws the game to Matt.

Don't want to yuck anyone's yum, but this trope of "player basically gets ignored for the whole game, obviously wins" is a bit too common for my taste. Always fun to see Seizan though, and good game overall!

At the same time, the correct strat for Trevor was kinda to just sit there and do nothing. Xenagos and Seizan devoured one another, and once the dust was settled all that was left was a stunted Ghave, easy for an Elesh Norn empowered token deck to take out. I agree that it's not the most satisfying thing to watch, but from Trevor's perspective it kinda checks out.

At 6:21 is there any reason why George is deciding the stack order of Matt's triggers? From my understanding Matt should be the deciding if Price of Knowledge or Seizan resolve first no matter who's turn it is.

Hm, not really. Communication tends to be the key with stuff like that. Maybe discuss why people aren't enjoying X or Y and try to come to a compromise?

The worst thing about playing a seizan deck is explaining how active player-nonactive player triggers work. Can be really frustrating.

That Seizan deck confuses me it's got a bunch of all player draw elements but also having discard elements and then price of knowledge which punishes based on having a big hand size just feels it wants to do everything that involves the opponent's hands

The hydra omnivore deals damage to all players when it hits. It was his problem since mike was open and he wouldve taken a big hit

i disagree with this game, Elish norn almost NEVER sees play, Seizan is literally helping Elish Norn and speed up Ghave and Xenagos. Ghave is the only deck here actually built to do things while Seizan is outmatched, Elish norn is a lower tier than Ghave to put it kindly, and Xenagos is literally just Gruul funstuffs.
