MTH TRAINS / "Bush & Osama".

HI, Here's an older clip I never put up / and I had a bit of fun ... (esp. with the "Bush and Saddam" car / oper. "enduring freedom" car that I got from Doc Russo). The "J" always a neat engine to run !. It's funny: the cars you see here (say 35-40 ?), are 5 and 10 bucks now ... "wow" ! ME ?: I was never a "York" anything (not interested in York / & never was), but when the market is FLOODED with these cars, "I buy them while I can", besides; the art-work on some of them is quite different and very-interesting.
Thought of the day: a set of MTH Diecast Truck are 25 bucks / pair ... and these non-desirable "York TCA" Cars are 5 and 10 bucks EACH become a steal! ... so that's a no-brainer / buy' em up !.

Any luck finding more DCS equipment in the golden 4.2 package? Before it’s all said and done it would be great to see you resurrect the whole layout and run everything like the good ole days. Alright that’s such great news!! I knew you’d find a way at some point! I’ll be here when you’re ready that’s for sure! I got out of the hobby at the same time you did but for me it was more because of life and priorities. Through it all my passion for trains has never and never will die! Once I can get/build the house I want I’ll be building my dream setup too. Still a ways off for that but I’ll get there. Until then watching you and guys like you will keep the fire going pun intended lol!

Hi "Yank" !! 'inspiration' ? "me" ? ... "I'm usually regarded as a hobby downer" / amid my many videos calling out the "reality" before us / in this hobby !. If you look at all the "obsessive happiness" video's (live blog's / reviews and the like), no-one except ME has called anyone "out". I fully get / enjoy, and embrace this hobby / and DID / this company ... but in the end; it failed, and in large part it was due to customer service / MY "opinion". Look at the latest one's, and the comments are even shut-off !! ... "why" ?. Anyway: 6.2 software may work for 'theee' average "4 by 8" and above ... but for ME; it ruined EVERYTHING / and was my undoing / as again, I went from near perfect operation / to NON-OPERATION. Lash-up's were lost, trains amid the various consists started to run wild and uncontrolled, and P-3 errors were a nightmare !... and NEVER-BEFORE have I ever used the "emergency-button". In a good many Lash-up examples; many engines were (again), lost, or-no longer "there" (in active / or inactive), and when it all happened it sank EVERYTHING, ... result: I withdrew. Add to all this, my one-on-one correspondence with "their" research dept., and it was alot of reality VERY FAST. I can't / won't beat that up here, but all in know (in the end), is what happened to ME. Many do NOT LIKE my "straight-forward criticism" here ... and I'm disinterested in "likes" or some silly "subscription" BS ... Again: "I call things out for what they ARE" / and for what they "were", and now its breadcrumb's / amid "another-over-run SD-70" "20th responder's" engine / in an 'oversaturation' environment ... "so be it". Mine was FUN / FACT BASED / and a "real-world perspective" ... Anyway: 768 engines at my ending / make "mine" a FACT BASED one at that". That said: I dearly thank-you*. :- )

Well the reality is your videos were a major help to me and judging by the comments - you have helped and inspired so many people. I do find it upsetting they could figure out your problem especially when showing just how a loyal customer you were - and I can assure you, I listen to your videos closely and I def do not think you are seen as a downer. Quite the contrary - Bring your layout is wired so that it can run up to 30 amps on a single track - are you running passive? I wonder if the DCS in 4.2 is better in passive than the new version. I found running active suits my needs especially in my yard where I put in toggle switches to keep the amps under 10 and avoid a tiu overload/blown fuse - Love the videos - you truly are an inspiration to many and I thank you

@@Yank2304 "WOW", I can't tell how flattered I am / to read this of you !. 'THANK-YOU'. My answer is "passive", and my peek amp. draw amid full smoke / all out "screaming" / was 32.4 amps. "Passive" changed alot of things for me, and on my "exploding video" / I wired in fusible link wire ("bridged it across internally") ... and THEN, I read about "passive" / and "THAT was that" / as I've been there ever since. I used to get alot of comments saying: "you're turning into a real downer in our hobby", and that was just one more thing to give me great pause, and "exit" things for a bit. These "Blogs" I see (currantly), are again: quite strange to me ... "these are the same people that say: "If we order and SELL u this / your ON YOUR OWN" ! ... "we want no part of it". Now all 3 Hobby Shops (in my area), are GONE. *Can u or I say this to a Customer* ??? Jim Sutter (@ "Jim's Train Shop"), ordered me 6 "SIX" powered SD-45's, and upon my receiving them: "FOUR outa the 6 were defective" !!!!!. That's a HUGE Q/C issue, (and Jim got me 4 replacement's / almost instantly). MORE: Trains that I sent to Maryland were LOST after 2.3 years in Service (at "our" makers place), and those were 4 other engines that were inop. / had cracked shells / amid paint and gearing defects. Anyway: my point is "that's alot of reality FAST". But when I used to call and get an attitude ... "THAT was IT" / DONE. All these things I preface in my clips / and the point of the remark is that you'd think it was utter "utopia" watching these Bozo's tell one-another how "great" they are on newer video's HERE !. Anyway: they purge my comments / and block me out. All this stress over a dumb train is silly, but com 'on "not this" / so I left. "LOL". I guess all those silly blinking Lites, and another SD-70 in a different livery will always rule the day ? ... "so be it". All I know is that the "issues" were simple / and EASY: "Sell me the part, get me the parts, and I like you to do that (the "maker"), because you WANT TO, and not because you HALF TOO!. NO MORE "sigh's" saying / making this remark to me: "you again" ? / "maybe you just shouldn't buy it from us Sir" / "maybe try a different manufacture" ... ??? . DONE. (Hey: "thx. to no-end"). :- )
