So many brilliant American comedies you can't remember them all. This is still so charming, it has the warmth of Everybody loves Raymond but the speed and wit of Friends. In fact, Valerie Harper is so like Courtnay Cox in mannerisms I reckon she based a lot of Monica on Rhoda. A treat.

Love this show! Myrna (Barbara Sharma) gets on my nerves a little. She was featured on a few episodes of "Becker" as (big surprise) an annoying patient. I agree with the complaints about the infernal misuse of the word "awesome". The English language is loaded with adjectives. Please, people, learn a few of them. "Awesome" does not mean "good". It's as specific as an adjective can be. The eruption of Mount Vesuvius, the damage caused by Hurricane Katrina were definitely awesome, but - pay attention here - not positive! The Great Barrier Reef, Victoria Falls, the Grand Canyon are awesome as well, but absolutely positive. Getting a free soft drink with a fast food meal is in no way awesome; it's merely a small perk. For goodness sake, EXPAND YOUR VOCABULARIES!!!

There could have been alot more scenes to write for the characters of Joe & Rhoda, had they stayed married, both of them together were funny. That Myrna is as annoying as her voice, and she needed to get off Charlie's back. He is a conceited moron, but no one likes their grammar corrected every 5 minutes. Cousin Lenny is mildly annoying, but sometimes funny. That seemingly constant buzzing Carlton does would irritate me, especially if I were busy.
