man, i can't believe i forgot about this show. i even took a gamble to search for mtv animated shows on wiki. the reason it pop'ed in my mind was cause of an episode where the guy with the beanie found a secret place with old graffiti in the subway. have not found that episode yet but i don't care, i'll start watching from the beginning again.

Damn.. this show was so good. The stories, characters, dialogue, the writing, voices and personalities.. so on point. Specifically for downtown NYC late 90's.

I looked up the cast of da show and I think that chakas voice actress passed away on april 11 2023 like an obituary page pops up if u look up her name and it says she did the voice, it’s really sad and she was so young she was born in 79

I translated this episode in Russian back in 2013. Great series. The dialogue, the animation style, the music - very impressive. God, I miss the old MTV...

Holy shit does this bring me back. Thank you so much for uploading this! I remember when this first came out, I was around the same age as the main characters, and their antics and random conversations were always hilarious. I liked their more "conversational" style, and how Alex was more of a realistic nerd (moody, a collector, a bit grungy) than a goofy stereotype. I remember one fansite used to peddle DVDs and begged people not to put stuff up for free online- I wonder if that's still around? In any case, I now have a project for the next week. This is awesome :).

I remember this short-lived series, MTV should do a 13 episode marathon for this year's 25th anniversary.
