Taylor is pretty much being taken advantage off. Those awards are only handed to her to please Taylor fans to continue watching. If this award was given to her a decade ago, when she was still RELATIVELY small, no bracelet would have been given.

She has two full Grammy-winning folk albums, folkmore and evermore. Those are not pop, and are basically poetry in terms of writing. If anything Ariana Grande is mostly pop. And it's a fact that Taylor writes all of her music while Ariana doesn't. If you look at Ariana's songwriting credits, for example positions was written by Killah B, JustAcoustic, Angelina Barrett, London on da Track, TBHits, Mr. Franks, Nija & Ariana Grande. That's 7 people aside from her. Not to mention she doesn't play instruments and isn't even credited for writing her most popular songs like Just A Little Bit of Your Heart, Love Me Harder, One Last Time, Dangerous Woman, Greedy, etc. That doesn't change that she's an amazing vocalist, but she definitely isn't known for her songwriting.
