The mutual respect between these two is something else. Mackie comes off as very loud and you would think that Sebastian wouldn’t get a word in, but I’ve noticed that every time Seb starts talking, even if it’s in the middle of Mackie’s sentence he always stops talking and gives him room, which is beautiful to see. This is the best duo ever.

Anthony Mackie is a very steady working Black actor in Hollywood mostly because he knows how to put his word out there. People were expecting him to get cocky with the Captain America mantle and to go out of his way to prove a point but he knows too damn well how the industry works. The best way to make their new tv series work is if he stays true to the character first introduced in the Winter Soldier but who has become more impactful that most secondary characters of the franchise.

I will say this about Falcon's role in Endgame: It was so minimal, and yet it carried so much emotional weight. First, when we hear him through Cap's comms, and then when he gets the shield. So it might be a small role in that massive film, but it certainly carried a lot of weight.
