I find it very strange that after Rasulullah (SAW) passed away, everyone had to take a shot at Ali (AS). Sunnis make excuses for 2 out of the 3 major rebellions. Every time you make excuses for one wrong, someone else has to be scapegoated for it. So all the blame for rebellion against Ali (AS) has to be now borne by only the Khawarij. Aisha and Muawiya get a free pass. It was an oopsie. How many times Rasulullah (SAW) had to say in his life that Ali is with haq and haq is with Ali? Man kunntu maula fa hatha Aliyyun maula (whoever accepts me as having authority over him, Ali has authority over him). Ali (AS) is to Rasulullah (SAW) as Harun (AS) was to Musa (AS). Master of Hunayn, Badr, Khaybar, Khandaq, Uhud. In strictly Sunni sources, about battle of Siffin Rasulullah (SAW) said those who will kill Ammar ibn Yasir will be from the party of hypocrites. About battle of Jamal he (SAW) said to Aisha herself that when you hear the dogs barking by the well, turn back. That's not enough? It's like they were just not paying attention? I could understand fitna against virtually ANYONE else except Ali (AS). We have as much evidence against Muawiyah as we do against Yazeed. There is nothing in Bukhari or Muslim against Yazeed either. So why one standard for one and another for the dad who was specifically from the tulaqa? Who came up with this idea that anyone who has seen the prophet (SAW) or has had any kind of contact with him (SAW) is a sahaba? I think they must be the same people who want to defend Muawiyah. So you make up rules which suit your own purpose. Because if you fail to justify their actions then your main compendium of "sahih" hadith which pivots on Aisha and Abu Hurayrah would be rendered invalid. This is simply scholastic dishonesty. Why doesn't a Sunni scholar come out and say things as they are?

Where is your dalil for what you're saying? In fact, Allah ta 'Ala says again and again in the Quran that He was NOT pleased with all of them. Surah Munafiqoon is about the sahaba in Medina. Friday Khutbah is going on and the sahaba are leaving the khutbah of Rasulullah (SAW) to go tend to their tijarah (trade/business). Battle of Uhud, the same sahaba all ran, leaving Rasulullah unguarded. Battle of Khandaq, Rasulullah asks "Who will fight Amr ibn Widd al Aamiri?" None among them volunteered, instead started making excuses that they have pending business at home. Battle of Hunayn...the last battle fought while Rasullah was alive, what happens? The Quran says that they all ran! Then there was the battle of Tabuk for which Rasulullah (SAW) was asking for volunteers and what kind of excuses the same "sahaba" were giving? "Roman women drive me crazy, they're too beautiful, I won't be able to concentrate". On the way to Tabuk, one by one many of same the "sahaba" started to abandon Rasulullah (SAW). Before Rasulullah (SAW) passed away, he asked the Muslims to join the army of Ussama ibn Zaid (RA) who was stationed outside Medina and your Umar and Abu Bakr said "Ussama is too young for him to command us!" Rasulullah (SAW) said "Whoever does not join the army of Ussama, may Allah curse him!" And finally, Rasulullah (SAW) had made a LIST of the munafiqeen in Medina before he passed away! For you they were "all" accepted by Allah? In every one of the examples I've noted above, there were some exceptions; namely, Ali (AS) and his Shia. For the munafiqoon, Rasulullah (SAW) says in Sunni books, "Loving Ali is the sign of iman (belief) and hating Ali is the sign of NIFAQ (hypocrisy - munafiqoon)". As for the battle of Uhud, it was Ali left behind and 4 others, guarding Rasulullah (SAW) against an entire army! As for Khandaq, Ali (AS) is the one who said "Let me ya Rasulullah (SAW)" and the Prophet (SAW) kept saying "Not yet Ali. Is there anyone else who will face this man?" And when no one dared, he (SAW) said to Ali (AS) "Go" and Ali (AS) defeated Amr ibn Widd Al Aamiri. Rasulullah (SAW) said about that "The WHOLE of Iman (belief) has defeated the WHOLE of Kufr (disbelief)". It was Ali in Khaybar who defeated the enemy single handedly which all the others couldn't do for a whole month. It was Ali (AS) in Hunayn with 8 others who turned the tides of the battle against 4,000 of the toughest Arab fighters from banu Thaqif and Hawazim. It was Ali (AS) who wanted to go to Tabuk but Rasulullah (SAW) left him in charge of Medina and said "You are to me, Ali, like Harun was to Musa". Ussama ibn Zayd was a Shia of Ali (AS). Surah Baqarah, Allah ta 'Ala says there are those who say they believe but they don't really believe. Bukhari records a narration where in the day of judgement SAHABA of Rasulullah (SAW) will be taken to jahannam (hell-fire) and Rasulullah (SAW) says "My COMPANIONS! Where are you taking them?" The angels will say to Rasulullah (SAW) "You do not know what they did after you!" Your blind aqeedah doesn't allow you to consider contradictions in your own beliefs. Those who object to muta are most likely children of najaiz (illegitimate) birth themselves. The Quran explicitly allowed Muta in Surah An Nisa, verse 24 where the word "istemtatu" is used, referring to Muta. Rasulullah (SAW) allowed Muta and he (SAW) would never ever tell someone to do something which is najaiz in any way. The prohibition for alcohol did not come down in one ayah but Rasulullah (SAW) never said to anyone "Go and drink alcohol" because it was already a bad thing even before the ayah for prohibition came down. And to close this point, only and ONLY in Sunni logic can a hadith ever abrogate, invalidate or overpower a verse of the Quran. Surah An Nisa:24 clearly states that Muta is allowed. Rasulullah (SAW) clearly said according to Bukhari AND Muslim that Muta is allowed. But the Sunnis will then make up fake hadith to DISALLOW what the Quran allowed. If any time anyone comes to you and says a verse of the Quran was abrogated by hadith, know without a doubt that they are liars. ONLY and ONLY a verse of the Quran can abrogate a verse of the Quran. No amount of fake hadith attributed to Rasulullah (SAW) or to Ali (AS) backed by millions of human Sunni "scholars" can ever ever abrogate what Allah made halal. Whoever tries to do that munafiqeen and if they do it knowingly, they are not Muslims. People who blindly imitate in matters of belief are the core problem with this ummah. This is one area where you can NOT be blind. Don't believe in something just because someone else did or accept without question. The Sunni line just doesn't make sense. It has more holes than Swiss cheese and is held up purely by ignorance, hate, intimidation, terrorism and violence. The least effective Sunnis are the ones who are peaceful. The best of plants need the best of soil to flourish but weeds will grow anywhere. Are you a weed or a fruit bearing tree?

I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) say about 'Ali as he left him behind in one of his campaigns (that was Tabuk). 'Ali said to him: Allah's Messenger, you leave me behind along with women and children. Thereupon Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said to him: Aren't you satisfied with being unto me what Aaron was unto Moses but with this exception that there is no prophethood after me. And I (also) heard him say on the Day of Khaibar: I would certainly give this standard to a person who loves Allah and his Messenger, and Allah and his Messenger love him too. He (the narrator) said: We had been anxiously waiting for it, when he (the Holy Prophet) said: Call 'Ali. He was called and his eyes were inflamed. He applied saliva to his eyes and handed over the standard to him, and Allah gave him victory. (The third occasion is this) when the (following) verse was revealed: "Let us summon our children and your children." Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) called 'Ali, Fatima, Hasan and Husain and said: O Allah, they are my family.

Saif Memon maybe he didn't as you say but he caused many wars against the Caliph of the time Ali KaramAllahu Wajhu and Hassan RA. So what do you call someone who stands with an army against the Khalifa Rashidoon several times and conspires against the rightful ruler of the time? I think such a person would be called a traitor in any civilisation. Once Rashidoon were over, there was no longer a truthful rule in the Islamic world. Muawiya was the destructor of the truthful/ Rashiddon rule and the establisher of the Umayad Dynasty. Also if Muawiya was a true sahaba, he must have heard the Prophet SAW say that he who takes me as his Mawla then Ali must be his Mawla too. So how can we blindly follow all sahabas when they do not follow the Prophet SAW's words after him. According to the History of Allama Ibn Khaldun, Mawiya covered this deep well with weak wood and covered it with carpet. He placed a wooden chair on top of this trap in respect for Hazrat Ayesha. As soon as Hazrat Ayesha sat on the chair, she fell into the well and got severely injured with a lot of broken bones. To hide his crime, Mawiya ordered the sealing of the well and with it, buried Ayesha in it, thus was responsible for the murder of Ayesha. S.a Hyder Jis kitab mai aapnai yeah Hadith parhi hai usi kitab mai Rasool Saw. nai yeah farmaya kai "maeray Sahaba Ra. ki izzat karo woh tum sai behtar hain" aur Hazrat Muawiyah Ra. ki sahabat Hazrat Ibne Abbas Ra. sai sabit hai yeah bhi usi kitab mai hai, Main Qata'aan Hazrat muawaiyah Ra. ko Hazrat Ali Ra. kai muqablay mai nahi la raha, koi muqabla hai hi nahi Maula Ra. ki shan buhat bari hai, lekin agar ALLAH kai Rasool Saw. kai sahaba Ra. ko unkai kisi amal par bura bhala kehna shuru kardiya jayega to phir aap saray Sahaba Ra. kai mutabiq zuban darazi karogai, jaisa kai aaplog (Ahle Tashayi) kartay ho, to phir kia bachay ga?

Tahir Ur Qadri is famous for quoting "observations" of historians as hadees.. There is no hadees in Sahih Bukhari which says Ali (RA)was cursed in sermons of friday salats + In a Religious Freedom Confrence in UK he openly propogated that it's allowed in Islam to convert to any religion from the people of book. By such messages he may get votes of Rafidis and Sabaites but will not serve any good for Ummah

It was narrated that Sahl bin Sa'd (ra) said: "A man from the family of Marwan was appointed as governor of Madinah, and he called Sahl bin Sa'd and ordered him to insult Ali, but Sa'd refused. He said: 'If you refuse to do it, then at least say: "May Allah curse Abu At-Turab." Sahl said: 'No name is dearer to Ali than Abu At-Turab, and he used to feel happy when he was called by it.' He said: 'Tell us his story; why was he called Abu At-Turab?' He said: 'The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) came to the house of Fatimah and he did not find Ali in the house. He said: "Where is the son of your uncle?" She said: "There was something between him and I, and he got angry with me and went out; he did not take a nap in my house." The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said to someone: "Go and look where he is." He came and said: "O Messenger of Allah, by Allah, he is in the Masjid, sleeping." The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) came to him and he was lying down. His cloak had fallen from his back and he had gotten dusty. The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) started wiping the dust from him, saying: "Get up, Abu At-Turab, get up Abu At-Turab." [SAHIH BUKHARI: 3703]
