as someone who also dropped out..school doesn’t teach you social skills or how to be a wise person. that’s something you learn over time of being a human and going through experiences that make you wiser, some people make mistakes and dont learn from them and a some people do. school only teaches you how to be book smart to go along with your “built in” intelligence.

Two Seattle Icons long gone, the Kingdome and Kurt. I was lucky enough to see them live at Key Arena in Seattle in 1993, that was a great time for music, I was a teenager just learning how to play guitar, I remember learning the Teen Spirit riff, I never heard anything like that before, a great time to be a teenager and a music fan. Heartbreaking that he couldn't work through his problems, life is hard for everybody, even money and success couldn't bring him happiness.

Le'Vin Moser I think most homeless people who pan handle play the exact same song everyday and the cool part is some actually make more than people getting paid 25$ an hour , so in their cases I don't think they get tired of the same song cause it feeds them , it's just that it's that fact that they are homeless and that this is how they make their living cause other wise I think they would all want a normal job making less money , cause at least they aren't looked at as homeless

I feel like Kurt really liked the first question she asked. Instead of getting right into the whole WHAT DOES YOUR MUSIC MEAN stuff right away, she simply asked a question that many interviewers don't ask. To me it seemed like he found that a refreshing, different, and somewhat nice question to ask. Anyone else agree? Just going off his body language of course.

He was so smart and he seemed in control of himself here. How everything spiraled out of control to the point of him ending it all is hard to believe. This is one of the best interviews I’ve seen with him. Such clarity in his words. Very perceptive guy and talented. Too sensitive to live? He seemed ok here. Whatever happened he made his contribution to music and will be remembered. RIP Kurt

3:31 Kurt Cobain got the pictures, props for the In Utero album etc. from a medical supply store at the Mall of America in 92-93 in Bloomington, MN. That's so cool. I remember that store I used to go in there myself but unfortunately it's not there anymore...

He was much too humble and real for super stardom. It consumed him. He was super talented but may have fared better behind the scenes or even as a struggling musician. No one since Kurt Cobain has ever come close to creating what he did. He was truly original. It's too bad he was so internally tortured. I am glad that the world received his gift before his departure.

Wow what an interview, and interviewer. She's so calm, and calming to Kurt. He recognizes her intelligence, and he wants to talk. Think of all the interviews Kurt had to sit through. He's so honest and funny here, and yet there's a sadness, a dysthymia, that seems to dominate his persona.

Good interview-Two weeks ago we went to Aberdeen Wa. and saw his childhood home,, which looks like it did in the 70s,' shag carpet and ugly wood paneling. His mom is wanting 500k for it! It's worth around 60k. We went under the Young St. bridge and sat in the samll park the city made in his honor. Great day, and good way to say goodbye. Then we went to the Hendrix gravesite in Renton, Wa on the same day. Two great local musicians that never should have died so young-27 for both.

It is very interesting to see Kurt look like this. He seems like he is way past his depressive state and drug addiction. To think that he would commit suicide after numerous sources show that he seemed a lot happier, sober and more importantly, living for his daughter and coming to understand what he stood for. I find it so hard to believe that he would take his life, knowing that his daughter needed him, especially after watching so much raw footage of him closer to when he died. It just doesn't make sense.

@azikkii9 жыл бұрын
JF Bruneau I've also always believed he committed suicide but it's so obvious that the case was handled poorly. I'm just keeping an open mind and looking forward to the new movie to shed some light on some other perspectives on this case. AKA the lawyer that was hired to help Courtney Love swears up and down that this case was completely mishandled and should be reopened.
@chucksbrain9 жыл бұрын
JF Bruneau But that is not evidence he pulled the trigger. Just watch Soaked In Bleach. It's not propaganda .. it's facts.
@chucksbrain9 жыл бұрын
JF Bruneau The Rome incident was NOT a suicide attempt. You are basically having faith in Courtney and not considering the actual facts and physical evidence. If you saw SIB , explain how the shotgun shell position was inaccurate. You can't use real logic to explain the facts they presented away. They mishandled that case. If you think they handled that case properly you are simply putting faith in a pathological liar. I've been learning about Kurt for 23 years. Everyone blows all his lyrics and his depression way out of proportion. Just like Courtney and some evil people would want you to.
@chucksbrain9 жыл бұрын
JF Bruneau And I don't believe you watched it , or maybe understood anything in that film. It is very obvious Kurt was being lied about.

Cobain was down to earth authentic to the bone. Music was his outlet for his pains. It worked for quite some time then it didn't fulfill him like it once did. He enjoyed the early days not so much the popular days at the end. It's kinda like opening the present was better than the present itself after opened.

The second he starts talking about finding love and how his perspective of the world has changed since the birth of his child, they change the subject. This is one of the coolest interviews he ever did. This shows what a normal guy he really was and what an artist he was and how he felt about things and the industry... God bless Kurt. 1994 was a terrible year for me personally... A couple of months after Kurt did what he did supposedly... My 21 year-old brother did the very same thing... The same way. It wasn't a copycat or anyting he had his own issues he didn't leave a note... But it was a devastating year of hell on Earth for me. You never get over it you have to learn to live with it but the thing about Kurt is.. and the same way I feel about my brother is that you have to keep them in your heart... And Kurt's music and his art left us behind with all the information and legacy that we can continuously learn from.

Like Kurt is just so humble here so lovley while..like its almost weird like hes gone but..this video he's so happy seemingly at least n alive that its scary he's like if that would be your average friend from your childhood's neighbor class type of things just that the diffrence is he's beautiful in his mind soul heart body..like so mindful peaceful looking pretty af but got bullied like everyone else at one point in life while being the definition of a true rockstar and would have been for sure an even more amazing father figure..the world just was n is way too cruel for an actual bright colorful empath lovable indivudual freedom honoring persona but on stage just turning into an absolute legend energy but behind it all a beautiful energy who probably would never judge you for being yourself infront of him untill you really take it too far n pss him off. Idk he's like a hero for sure even tho he never wanted any of this going that far at all was not even trying or wanting any of this all but became the icon of so many people doesnt matter where on the planet you live what your life is what you do what you like litterly everyone by now knows this persona..but here hes just a normal nice dude you could run into on the streets talkin bout the weather n go about your day after again..while beeing so fame and searched or speculated about in history. Insaine.
