I keep my personal lists on google keep on my phone and they're all color coded, categorized and ordered by priority. They include: goals, bucket list, gratitude, journal prompts, errands, affirmations, my accomplishments, things I need to hear, favorite memories, places I want to visit, things to look forward to, strengths, things I want to work on (mentally, life, physically), quotes, life lessons, workouts, and lists of things to do when mad/bored/sad/upset/down/depressed/anxious. I review them constantly, edit them and change them during low impact cardio workouts like stationary biking or elliptical. Then at work I have work dump/to do lists and my top three work priorities for that day.

Excellent! I love Notion also. I use A, B, or C to delineate priorities for my action items. A = Working on Now, B = Up Next and C = Not on my radar yet. This helps me clear my mind of all things "C". It also gives me a short term picture that includes what I plan to do next. Most action items are, of course, in C, but once I'm done with my A items, I move B items to A and review the C items to see what should be moved to B.

Mind. Blown. 🤯🤯🤯🤯 The second you said Notion was free for personal use, I had to pause the video and check it out. I'd heard it was a great app, but I mistakenly thought it was for iOS only, and I'm a Windows and Android girl. So when I clicked the link, I was instantly blown away. My jaw hit the floor several times as I watched the demos of what Notion can do. I immediately signed up! (And subbed to your channel, btw. 😁) I have never, ever seen an app that is so all-inclusive. It's the Swiss Army knife of apps! It's my dream planner, that fabled "unicorn" planner that we planner addicts fantasize having. Or I should say planner/journal/binder/sticky note/list pad/EVERYTHING app! I am beyond amazed. The biggest reason I'm so excited about this is because I have ADHD. So, while I love love love planners and organizers of all kinds, not many of them will work with my brain, and even if I find one that does, my brain will eventually get tired of it and reject it. The only two paper systems I consistently come back to are traveler's notebooks and bullet journals because I'm always able to adapt them to my current needs. However, even they have a tendency to stop working, especially if I'm struggling with my mental health issues (I also have depression and anxiety). Now, I am fully aware that this app is not a cure-all for every single problem I have with executive functioning. It won't magically make me a better person. But it WILL satisfy my craving for a way to bring all my scattered thoughts together in one place. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!! 💖

Following this video, I downloaded Notion, and at first I found it really hard to work with on my phone. I was so ready to give up, but I decided I needed to change my approach in life (where my laziness gets in the way of creating the life I want - sidetrack!). I opened Notion on my browser and tried again. I was able to download your Life Dashboard - shoutout for starting us off, Michelle! Then I began adapting this to suit my life. You do have to give this a decent amount of trial/error/practice before deciding on it, but it's a game-changer! My hope is this tool will help me to live my life more intentionally, rather than tumbleweed-ing along like I have been (which actually stresses me out more!). And I really think it will ❤️❤️

I'm so overwhelmed by the thought of this. It probably is very helpful but this is college level planning and I'm at a toddler level of planning. Where would you start if you never had planned anything before? Where would you start if it all seemed terrifying. It all seems so permanent and in stone, with no way out, no allowances for clumsiness or fear. No changing your mind. It probably isnt as bad as I'm making it seem but I so want to make this planning thing work.

I totally feel you, this is definitely me after 4ish years of figuring out how to organise my life. I’d start with one big master to do list that you store somewhere thats easy to access and add to - iphone notes, google keep, whatever works. Then I’d have a notebook (I’m defs a physical notebook gal when it comes to planning my days) and every day just write down three to dos from your big master list. My sister is newer to planning and that’s where she’s started and she’s finding is super helpful (it’s also where I kicked off for sure)

So over the past year i haven't been that organized with to-do's, life goals, etc. Very intentionally, after having traveled for half a year I just wanted to live a little more relaxed and I only did the things that I felt necessary (writing down little to-do's but no weekly reviews etc. or any future goals) Today I was on instagram and someone said in their story the sun is going into virgo today and we might feel like being more intentional, goal setting and making lists. I thought nahhh, I'm good. Then I watched a few youtube videos that were somewhat on this topic (because I do like learning about it) and now I'm like hell yeah, I'm gonna slowly and gradually get back into a more productive/intentional lifestyle. Starting with only one goal for the next 3 months, instead of 3 what I'd usually do. This video was motivational and helpful to get more organized again :)
