I definitely recommend purchasing small organizing containers to store like products. It looks much neater and is super easy to pull out a box and find what you need rather than having to move bottles around.

Decluttering is something I need. I don't know what I'd declutter. I'm down to some basics and things. This particular one doesn't apply to me because I don't wear makeup or have an overabundance of needed items. Use everything that I have. I don't have more than 2 shampoos, a pack of razors, etc. at a time. But it's good to see you getting organized. It's motivational.

Good day of reflection and rest! Still to check through any items and thinking Over if you love the items you use every day! Update / refresh your routine - maybe get a new face mask or change the spot you put your tooth brush- or wipe down your bathroom :-)

A guiding question I use is “What insecurity does this item address and promise to fix? Does it do what it promised?” Then I don’t feel bad if I let it go. I just believed something that wasn’t true about a product and I learned something about myself in the process.

Maybe you could use a designated zip lock bag for the fake tan bottle. 🤔 It could save you some time when you're cleaning. 😊

Since you are a fan of bare minerals, have you tried using their concealer as an eyeshadow base? It keeps my oily eyelids under control and helps keep the makeup in place. Maybe it will work for you too.

Oily eyelids are so hard!!!! Not sure how clean it is, but the CoverGirl eyelid primer works really well for oily eyelids! I've usually got slick, creased eyelids within a few hours of doing my makeup, but with the CoverGirl primer my eyes last 8+ hours!

I like to put any products that are prone to leaking or it would be a disaster if it leaked everywhere - ie. Fake tan into zip lock bags. Hope this helps.

Haha this is funny. Im on The other side of this. I have NO makeup and about to buy new makeup. But I am only getting like what I would use on a daily basis and one or two things for special days. 😁👏🏻

I swear I thought I was good in this department. Yes, I had a couple of makeup swaps to make, but I thought that was it. Little did I know that I would still find a handful of things to declutter. It wasn’t much, but it made a big impact in the drawers. They function much better now! Thank you!

very random and hope u see this BUT i've been using mac paint pots for sooo long for a base for my eyelids and i will never go back to anything else. my eyelids were so greasy, taking makeup off and those make your eyelids sooo matte. just a suggestion :')

Is there any other way to get rid of barely used products than putting them in the trash ? The thought of « wasting it » always hinders my decluttering process 😓

Ask a few friends if they're interested in any of your barely used items. You can also sell them online- just make sure to note that its used and while some people would never buy used makeup others will. Its if its really past its prime just throw it away and just be more mindful of your next purchases. That helps me with the guilt of throwing it away

In order to avoid waste, I prefer finishing all my products instead of throwing them to garbage. And I never buy a product for ONE event: it's a huge waste of money...
