I am neurodivergent and recently figured out that preplanning and time blocking takes away the anxiety of needing to do a million things and not knowing where to start. Less decisions!

Launch tasks have actually been such a game changer for me. I intentionally add easy things to my list to get the productivity flow going and as stupid as it sounds it just actually helps.

Idea 3 with the closed to-do list is a game changer for me! I never realized what I was doing to myself when I just kept making myself keep going and going. Treat yourself like you'd treat a friend, for real.

This video really resonated with me. I especially liked the tip about lauch tasks. I've been writing them myself sometimes when I have a particularly loathsome task at work. However silly they sound (turn on the laptop), they DO help, and I should not forget about them.

My launch task for doing my taxes was making a list of all of the documents I needed to gather to file, and then collecting them into one folder for easy reference. I also had a friend over and we did our taxes at the same time, snacks/drinks and a friend made everything much easier to do!

The interacting with your lists, refreshing and using master lists and even the kon-mari bit map pretty much exactly to the core of Bullet Journaling, where you write your list each day pulling from other lists, reviewing and refreshing as you go :)

Love the idea of creating mini projects ❤

This video helped me to make progress on one of my stale tasks - mending a hole in my knitted dress. I had already bought a mending thread, which wasn't easy in the first place (my local fabric store didn't have the right colour, so I had to order from Amazon), then having watched a video on how to fix a finely knitted dress, I realised I need a special tool called mending hook or latching hook and I gave up at first, but today as you mentioned the word "stale" I thought of that task. I have just posted on a local free sharing and borrow app called Olio to see if someone might lend it to me first and if not I'll have to buy it.

Yes! I’ve been having mostly mini projects in my list. No wonder I feel the way I feel! Thank you for all the tips! ❤

I love these tips, especially number 5! KonMari-ing my to do list, brilliant. I also changed my language, I don't call it a "to-do" list anymore. I call it a commitment list. Am I committed to doing "this"? It helps me say no to new sh*t that comes in so I don't keep making the same mistakes.

Thank you so much for all the work you put into your channel! It’s productivity advice that is actually helpful. Probably because you always give so many different, nuanced ideas and not just one approach that is supposed to be the right one for every single person! So thank you❤

Interesting that you said hello fresh meals were easier. I found them to be more challenging because they weren’t my “usual recipes”. I didn’t know how to prepare them so I found myself following the instructions more closely. But great video - helpful - thanks

Any ideas for launch tasks for sorting out your finances?
@_daniela_s6 ай бұрын
- Maybe gathering all documents you might need in one place - make/prepare a nice beverage to go with your task (never drink hot chocolate but would love to? Make it so you have sth to look forward to) - sit at computer and open the app you use - repeat some positive beliefs like I can be responsible with money, money likes me, sorting out finances will make me feel calm and relieved etc (depends on your relationship with money) Just some ideas I had. 😊

I have found that doing mine weekly, just paying whatever is due at that time, not waiting on a credit card statement, keeps me in a routine. Then everything is “cleared out” and taken care of for the following week. I try to do mine while my laundry is going or set a timer, or it can stretch itself out.
