Greetings from North Carolina USA. I recall visiting my grandparents dairy farm as a small child. I would always be dressed in my Sunday best and once on a walk down to the barns I found myself over knee deep in the muck and had to be rescued!

Can’t beat a bit of muck spreading. Some of the early spreaders had a nasty habit of throwing it forward at the driver. No cab in those days!

Aaaaaah Rufus the Covid pandemic has had some cherished bonuses-more Flank vlogs!! Thank you for choosing to isolate at the farm. Thank you for spending some of the time filming life on the farm. As always the scenery is rustic and visual and audio quality superb. Thank you for the great stories and thank you for giving Mum a hand.

My dad born 1930, was raised on an estate in Norfolk, his father was farm manager However he went into construction rather than farming, but he was a avid gardener and I would like to say allotment holder, but he had 3 allotments, he used cow muck on his allotments, however, as soon as the muck was used, he'd get another delivered, to rot down ready for next year, avid believer in well rotted muck Geoff

gotta talk about the size of systems- small farms are ok doing this- but the big commercial farms create lagoons and then spray it out in the fields near rivers and other sensitive places.
