3 things I did. The day before I sprayed all silver screws and washers satin black. I used a 3/16 drill bit to drill out the rivets, very easy and keeps the hole clean. Last, black gasket maker to seal the crack between the mud flap and inner fender that way you don't get the mud streaks that run down on the outside of the mud flap. Yes, I am OCD.

Thank you for the good video, I am going to install these myself tomorrow. The video helped and the install was super easy. Great quality products, I’m very happy with them. Also David Mann thanks for the hot tip on drilling out the rivets with 3/16 bit. That saved a lot of time. Worked great. I also sprayed the silver bolts black, another good tip.

Thank you for the video on how these installed. Thinking of getting some myself. I feel like instead of the mix of hardware they send you though, I would just get a pack of blacked stainless bolts, washers and nylock nuts that way all the fasteners are the same.

Thanks for the instructions. I am in the process of putting the mudflaps on my Gladiator now. The only thing I see is that I put them on and had all the actual hardware from WT. The top of the front flaps take a slide on screw clip and screw and the lower hole takes the push in plastic plug. The only problem is getting the darn existing plugs out. What a pain :o(

Have heard the RocBlokz will fit if you swap some of the mounting components from left to right. Trying to verify if that is true.

they look nice and they will protect the paint for sure. the only thing I don't like are the stainless rear bolts, they should come in black.

I agree.

I hit mine with a quick blast of black paint to hide them. Worked well.

Great video, but not sure why weather Guard didn’t just use pop rivets.

Thanks for the detailed instructions. Great video. What size tires are you running and do you know the offset? Last how are they holding up and are they doing a good job protecting jeep from spray and rocks?
@rubberduckoffroadgarage3 жыл бұрын
The tires in the video are 37in KM2. I am now running a 35in mickey thompson trail boss a/t. The wheels are the same not sure what offset. The mud flaps do ok for the part of the tire they cover. I am waiting for the slider steps to come that will help as well. Thanks for watching.

Do you feel with changing the tire size that the flap still provides adequate coverage vs other brands? I have added side steps on mine but no flaps. Have quite a bit of rocks that get thrown up but running factory size tires. Thank you!!

@@rubberduckoffroadgarage I'm just worried the rears won't fit, weathertech's website tells me the rears will not work with the tow pack.

If it's a diesel they should fit. As for a gas with the max tow I am not sure.

@@rubberduckoffroadgarage Yes it's a diesel! Thank you!
