I noticed you forgot to use Loctite on all the bolts. I have a set of these and I neglected to Loctite the bolts. Unfortunately, after about 6 runs that year, the bolt fell out of one of my skis, and the Rollerski fell off causing my ski to fall off. The spindle stuck down into the snow, spun us around (my wife and I on a Grand Touring) and flipped us over resulting in me having 2 broken ribs. We had just trailered 7.5 hours to Mont Valin from Ottawa to spend a week there. This happened 20 minutes into our first morning ride of the week then the week was over.

@@dirkvanderwal9416 oh man! That’s too bad, but thankyou for sharing. Someone else suggested locktite and we did remove the bolts and apply locktite before the initial run…. definitely a helpful tip! Thank you and safe sledding

Looks like a nice product. Should be made out of all stainless. Don’t know why thes manufacturers don’t use stainless. It would cost more but worth the extra cost to me

they work so well. havent shown any corrosion or rust. They are holding up well. Been 2400kms on that sled and we use them way more than i thought we would! definitely a great accessory!

qualipieces will be there but they dont sell on the floor. Energy Powersports had a promo on them a couple of weeks ago. Call them and tell them you are a fan of the Snowmobile Sessions podcast and see if the discount is still good. They should be able to hook you up with yamaha models - check out qualipieces website to look up the model number

@@BlueRage I think you didn’t watch to the end. Loads of leverage and you don’t need a lever. I hate how ugly and bulky the rouski looks and why add weight for a lever bar when the ski tip provides more? I’ll stick with Rollerski. They both do the job the same, Qualipieces gets it done with less hardware, less weight and a way cleaner look

Its pretty competitive in the Ski Wheels category and these seem a bit better engineered from what else is out there
