मुद्दा आपका : पेट्रोल-डीजल GST में क्यों नहीं ?

पेट्रोल डीजल की बढती कीमतों के बीच अक्सर यह सवाल उठता है कि आखिर पेट्रोल डीजल को जीएसटी के दायरे में क्यों नहीं लाया जा रहा है। हाल ही में जीएसटी परिषद की बैठक में इस संबंध में एक प्रस्ताव लाया भी गया और उसकी वजह थी केरल उच्च न्यायालय का आदेश। केरल हाई कोर्ट में पेट्रोल-डीज़ल को जीएसटी के दायरे में लाने को लेकर जून महीने में एक याचिका डाली गई थी.. जिस पर कोर्ट ने जीएसटी काउंसिल को फ़ैसला लेने के लिए कहा था लेकिन इस प्रस्ताव पर सहमति नहीं बन सकी। पेट्रोल डीजल को जीएसटी के दायरे में लाने को लेकर अलग अलग राजनीति देखने सुनने को मिलती है। चर्चा यह भी देखने सुनने को मिलती है कि केंद्र सरकार पेट्रोल और डीज़ल को जीएसटी के दायरे में लाने पर विचार कर रही है। क्या इस संबंध केंद्र सरकार कोई अकेले फैसला ले सकती है। क्या राज्य सरकार इसके विरोध में है। आखिर पेट्रोल डीजल पर जीएसटी के मुद्दे पर कोई सहमति क्यों नहीं बन रही।

the money saved by common people from petrol and desiels would be spent to buy goods and comodities , that will make money spent in indian market , govt could raise excise and import duty , apply tax upon FD , Mutual Fund , govt could also put saving bonds for roads and infrastrutre etc more money in hands means more spending upon goods and commodities

Sushil sir , apart from ur said source of income for government are processing of mineral of the country, giving permission for business like tele spectrum and manufacturing tax. Tax are increasing coz poor administrative work of government, government waste huge money on its function and claim it necessity. If government start working efficiently to 51 % then our tax would be reduce by 75 % .
