WOW! I'm gobsmacked by this one. It's certainly the DIRTIEST, FILTHIEST rug I've ever seen you clean!! Was it buried underground for ten years? I cannot understand HOW a rug that thin can retain so much dirt! I saw it was dirty, but was not expecting that!! It certainly fought you all the way to getting cleaned, but you won in the end! The before and after is incredible. You deserve to celebrate the win over that one, Jakub!

I enjoy watching your channel because the videos help calm my ptsd and anxiety, but I gotta be honest…the first 45 minutes of this one actually heightened my anxiety. I thought for sure the filthy water wasn’t ever going to stop oozing out. This was one of the best payoffs for sticking around until the end. Great job as always.

I really appreciate Lubuskie's thorough and methodical way of cleaning his rugs. I have watched others clean and they don't do it as thorough as he does and I find myself getting anxious because these other cleaners miss spots or quit be for all the dirt is out and the water runs clear. Rugs that old need to be very carefully cleaned the fibers would be to fragile for some of his cleaning... 200 yrs probably ok. 500+ never...restoration would be needed

I had a rug that got 100% drenched with raw sewage (I work in the basement, and there was a horrible sewer event that caused what had to be thousands of gallons of raw sewage to pour out everywhere). I assumed it was a loss, which was sad as it was a rug I'd had forever, but the guys who were handling the cleanup told me they had someone and they'd only return it if they could get it totally clean. It came back totally clean (at least I hope so - it's been almost a year now and there haven't been any smells or anything that'd suggest it wasn't)

The title for this cleaning is perfect! Looks like the ash bucket, coffee pot, and a herd of elephants happened to this carpet all at the same time. Two cleanings! At the end though, the carpet is beautiful with an intricate pattern and gorgeous colors. The owner couldn't have recognized it as his own. Jakub, you have surpassed yourself! Spectacular job! 👍👍👍

In the instructions that come with those machines and their cleaning products it says to test for colour-fastness on a corner or hidden area of the rug. If the machine owner follows the instructions this will never happen.

Never say never I had one like this it was wool Persian thick bigger than this but because it was in a room with heavy traffic and large furniture it hadn't been cleaned in 10 years it developed mold and moth colonies I couldn't clean it so I had to drag it out and Cut it up with a chainsaw it was like a $2000 rug

A lot of rugs in this kind of condition usually come from very old houses or estates and can be in storage, not properly protected for years, I would rather it be cleaned for someone else to enjoy for more years to come rather than just throw it. (This one is extreme but it could have been over 100 years old before vacumes and carpet cleaners, holidays and parties, and animals not to mention open fires in those days too)

Absolutely amazing! Jakob, kudos to you for not giving up on this rug. It took you 9 cleanings to get this item presentable to the owner. I can only imagine the stunned look on their face when they see the restoration of this carpet. When you first showed it to us, I really thought they was no way this piece could be salvaged. GO JAKOB, GO! (Next time, you may want to wear a HazMat suit.)

I think we owe the owners of this rug an enormous THANK YOU. One of them was surely prescient and got a glimpse of the white wellies of the future, thereby deciding to bury this rug face down in a soft sand loam for 20 years, digging it up, rolling it up and leaving it in the garden shed until now giving it to Jakub to clean and film for our viewing pleasure. Outstanding humanitarian gift to ASMR and OCD.

I think one of the beauties of this kind of videos is that they do exactly what you are expecting… it really satisfies our wishes, like in the end that was supposed to be over after drying it but I wasn’t satisfied with how clear the water was and then turns out he wasn’t either 😅🤩🤩

I love your videos. So relaxing with very nice music in the background. I was trying to pick a favorite part but I have so many. But I must say one of them is when you clean the underneath side it releases so much more dirt for when you scrape again. Plus I like the big water fountain sprayer, oh yes and the little silver brush machine that creates so many bubbles and foam. You are PERFECT as always!

You don’t speak much about the upkeep of your shop, Jacob, but this carpet made me wonder if you had to plumb out your drain and open all the doors and windows‼️ Good grief, man‼️ You did a wonderful job on a true “hidden beauty!” The carpet slowly revealed its beauty due to your hard work…but I have to say that you have a strong stomach as well as a strong work ethic‼️👍🏻

While watching this video, I wondered if perhaps this rug came from a home that was heated by a coal furnace. I grew up in that kind of environment plus we lived right above coke ovens which were always belting out coal smoke. There was always a oily kind of dust on everything. I cannot remember the rugs ever being professionally cleaned! Wow! I wonder what they REALLY looked like!! LOL

This may be the most heavily soiled rug I've ever seen Jakub do. It was continual mud after each step. I wonder if it felt like it would never come clean. How wonderful to see clean water at the end. That rug is really beautiful. I can't believe it is the same rug. Such an amazing job!
