Muddy Water Rising, Mississippi River Catfish Fishing

First time seeing you video. I love fishing. I fished one time on the Mississippi River as a teen or pre-teen with my Uncle Willie up around Bogue Chitto, Mississippi. It was scary being in a little aluminum boat with the swift water going by with us anchored out. My parents were in another aluminum boat. We entered the Mississippi River through a small “creek”. My uncle knew all the places to fish and catch “tons” of fish. From Lake Mary to the Mississippi and places in between. We caught bream, bass and catfish that day. I lost a big Tabby cat that looked like it weighed 4 pounds. My uncle was slow in getting the dip net; when the cat got top side he darted downward and pulled the hook out of his mouth. I was so upset at my uncle. He didn’t believe that I had a fish on my line. Broke my heart.

@lilesmw yeah me too would just like to hang out with M Hood for Cat fishing. I salt water fish all my life. Only Cat fish I catch is hard heads. But i saw a video of his a way back and he ate it. Said it was good.

I agree 💯 if you fish regularly chances are you keep when you in the mood for Fish , I actually do keep a couple of dinners caught up ahead just in case I might want to eat some and down here especially right now weather conditions don't always allow fishing trip day so its best to stay a couple of packs vacuum packed up for those days, , I'll put a few extra in during the early fall because I also Hunt Deer 🦌👀 so im busy stocking up the freezer while I can so I Catch up a Few packs for That,i usually fish during the winter as well but it's better Safe To have a Few Crappie or Bluegill Fillets on Hand if im cooking catfish they're freshly caught up,,
