I got epoxy in my reel seat threads. This was not discovered until after it had fully cured. Can this be repaired with out tearing it down and replacing the grip and reel seat?

Thanks for the video. I have an aluminum reel seat that I want to remove and change out. What would be the best way to go about that? Will a heat gun be effective on the pro paste?

Yes, I would approach it the same way with the heat gun. The good news is the reel seat being metal will help heat the epoxy underneath quicker. Please remember to use gloves as that seat can get very hot, very quick.

How about a bait casting rod conversion to a spin casting rod using the same rod . I have an 11 foot surf rod that I believe was used with a conventional bait casting reel Would like to convert to a surf casting rod with a spinning reel . What would be involved to convert ?
