What a wonderful mudlarking day. You had so many fun finds. Congrats to Kate for your adorable glass die bucket list find. I can't wait to see for next week to see what other amazing thing you found that day. 😀

The Dice its Ammmmaaazing and red too how lovely to have found that. The deer does look like a red deer with the shaggy hair on its neck and the gold button is gorgeous and to think it was just brought back to life in lemon juice. Well done you two for another great lark and video and I say too the longer the better.

Something I've noticed about your treasure hunting amongst the rubbish is that you often pass on the full bottles and often focus on the broken fragments. That is so interesting, kind, and very thoughtful to help clean up the careless rubbish from the past. The fact that you're able to transform those tiny bits into art projects is bloody genius. Keep up the champion work! Cheers! The red glass dice is spectacular! Well done!!

Another joyous lark at that beautiful location. The shots of the flock of birds and the flowers in the fields were magical. Kate, the red, glass dice is a beauty, well spotted. Fleur, the soldier with the droopy head was probably asleep at his post. Once again Treasure beach has been kind to you both.

That faceted cabochon that you called "lemon colored", here in the states we call it "honey amber." It is beautiful. The zombie soldier is very disconcerting. Lol!!! Nicola White found an "AFS" button a couple of weeks ago in her video. Actually, it may have been a cap badge. I don't know. Senior moment. Lol!!!! You're right, it's pronounced "my-kuh".

Mica squares were also used to make heat-proof windows in stoves (so you could check on the fire without opening the door) and lanterns, before heat proof glass was invented. They were fist used for this purpose as long ago as the 1700’s, and continued to be used until ceramic glass was invented in 1953. In Russia, mica was sometimes used for windows.
