The milk glass item is most likely a feed or water holder that slid into a bird cage and stayed in place with that knobby thing kind of locking it in between the wires. =)

Probably for a larger bird like a parrot the ones my mom had were smaller and beautiful green clear glass on a small metal cage

But if you look at the picture of their bottles it's not exactly the same, the one they found has some fleur de lis, the one you're talking about has no fleur de lis

Yes, it may not be precisely the same but I had some Prince Matchabelli perfume in the 60s that looked very similar.

Your slate "table" would have been on the bottom, coolest shelf in the pantry to set the jug of milk and crock of butter upon. Helped keep them cooler in days before refrigeration.

That was my first thought as well...Prince Matchabelli perfume. "Cachet" cologne (also made by P.M.)was my 'signature' scent when I was in high school in the late 70's...LOL!!

That star bottom that you plan on turning into an ornament would also make a good cookie press. I always look at the bottoms of glasses and dishes just for a good imprint.

I was going to tell them same thing a machete is under 10 american dollars and i love them they chop the old tree limbs and weeds with no effort thats what they i believe were made for to clear the way through jungle and forests the machete comes with a carry case that fits on a belt or strap around your leg

My grandmother, who was born in 1889 had one of the milk glass things. She had a metal bracket that the back slipped into, she used it for matches near her fireplace. I haven’t seen one since hers, I’m glad you found this, thanks for the blast from the past. Great finds.

They hang the Mary statue on the wall by a door usually. Mary would have a bowl attached to hold Holy water.

When I was little we were allowed to play with my Dad's Grandfather's marbles and we called the one like you show at 29:53 a "root beer float" marble because, to us, that's what the colors made us think it was. (A root beer float is root beer pop mixed with vanilla ice cream.) Yum!

I had perfume in a little crown-shaped bottle. Windsong by Prince Matchabelli, I think. Back in the 70s.

I had to watch this several times and have now ordered the cyanotypes solution to play with. I adore those prints and feel you should frame them , either portions or full pieces. The fact that you collected the items from the mud, cleaned them up and created those photo prints is a process that is special. i loved this video. And all your videos. :)

Girls, this was fascinating! Everything an individual treasure, with imaginary potential. The images on paper, beautiful, what an art form! Love the milk glass caged bird feeder / waterer, so fancy. I've seen pinterest photos where people have placed halves of bowls, plates, etc. outside in walls of gardening sheds or fences, etc. to hold things. Since you find so many half items and have outbuildings, it might work for you.

The milk glass thing looks like the flower holders they use in mausoleums. Especially the wall ones that have many graves.

Lovely Cyanotypes! Just found this info...Always wear plastic or latex rubber gloves while handling the Cyanotype solutions, coating the paper and processing the exposed images. The solution should be considered poisonous.

This Cyanotype technique has been a favourite with trained botanists for a long time ; the results are great with leaves and flowers ; skeleton leaves are awesome done like this. We even do it with seaweed .

The little bottles you find that have a lip tie a string around the neck, leave a space then tie another one. Make a run with about 4 or 5 bottles. Hang them in a window. You can put plant cuttings or a flower in water. Great video. I love the pictures. You found so many beautiful things!

In the US, there was a popular, drug store cologne for men called “British Sterling.” There was a ladies cologne called “Prince Matchabelli.” This would have been the 1960s. The bottles were in the shape of crowns.

The name of the perfume is "Windsong". It is was popular as late as 1970's.

That is a night lite cover, the light would slide inside it. The light would plug into a receptacle and have a place to slide that piece on . Great hunt ladies. Love the channel ❤

Just a thought, what about lining the bottles up on the table so that the morning/afternoon (?) shadows and lights stretch across the table top, then put your paper down on the table behind them?
