Rebecca here - I love the idea of a bath tub, and perhaps you can use the little half bowl you found as a sink for the hospital - just shimmy it up to a wall and find some great metal bits for the plumbing and faucet! Or they could both make a grand inside bathroom in the house! I wish for you and yours an amazing Christmas Holiday from New Mexico, USA! Here in Albuquerque, we set and light farolitos (brown paper bags with sand and candles) along our walkways to guide our family home and share Biscochitos a traditional cookie (biscuit) with cinnamon and anise with a hot cup of hot dark chocolate with chile and achiote - turns it red (:-O) and the heat of the spices lights a warm fire within! I'll be alone this Christmas, so your videos will be a welcome addition to my days! Feliz Navidad Y Prospero Ano!

Mudmas continues! Thank you! Just spent 6 hours in the car picking up son from college and was exhausted. Watched this immediately upon return and I am a new rested person! Painting your scraper a bright color would make it easier to find when it gets left behind and if it is bright you may leave it behind a lot less often. Maybe orange as I believe it is a favorite color of yours. May the Joy of Christmas be yours during this holiday season.

I'm enjoying these magical mudmas videos! Loved the bauble you created. They are the best Christmas gifts for me. 😍 We had warmish weather in Pennsylvania last week. My neighbor and I, both in our sixties, drove to the farm where my 2 old horses live. After carrot and peppermint distribution, we walked down to the creek running through their field, called the Monocacy (hopeful horses with minty breath trailing behind), to see what might be found. Nothing much this time, just a redware shard and a few spotted volcanic rocks from the ancient nearby, worn away volcano. At one point I called out to my friend, "I really want to yell - It's a bead!!!" We get so much enjoyment from you both and your enthusiastic treasure hunts. Merry Christmas!!

Absolutely love the upcycled Christmas Bauble! Wrap some brightly coloured electric tape around your trowel handle (a stripped green and yellow electric tape is good) this will make your trowel handle stand out on the foreshore/beach and draw the eye to it when in use 🤗

Lovely sweater! That tiny marble is incredible. So many color swirls on the outside and the surprising colbalt inside. Nature made it better by breaking it. Mudmas is such a delight. I appreciate all the time and effort the two of you have put into creating the videos and crafts. You make my day.

One of my 8 Yr old twin boys found a beautiful bead today on a beach...our first ever bead! It's blue,white with a black circle each side, definately glass. So chuffed 😊

I could stand next to your beautifully decorated tree for hours, admiring all the great and unique ornaments upon it. As a child I would lie beneath our tree, looking up into the limbs at the decorations and lights. I always imagined I was a small faerie flitting and sitting among all of it.

What’s the odds of finding the perfect metal bit to make the top of the ornament on the same day on the same beach? It was meant to be. The idea of garnets in the old piece of jewelry is a great idea! Garnet is my birthstone and honestly I used to hate it because I thought the color was so dark and ugly compared to everyone else’s. Being older I have a new found appreciation for garnets and wear them always. Love your guys energy and videos! Also your sweater is adorable. Happy Holidays ❤️

I was given three clay pipes that were found in Savannah Ga. USA. I made Gnomes from them like Alex on Northern Mudlarks did. I saved one, because it has a dogs head for the spur. The pipe piece you found I at first thought was a dogs head. But my Gnomes will hang on my daughters tree this year. The swrily marble piece will be a beautiful cabochon on a ring or necklace.

Tie a bright colored ball to your trowel with a ribbon or piece of wire. Orange or an electric pink or yellow would really help you keep track of it. Happy Holidays.

Fleur paint a bright pattern on your trowel with nail polish! I’ve done mine - it really helps to spot it in the mud/sand/gravel! Great video again!

Hello, Ladies! Though few finds, they are fine finds. Lovely ornament you made, Kate. Pipe was one I haven't seen before. Loved the broken cobalt marble? I'm wondering if it wasn't an attempt to make a hat pin? Sure was a large variety of beads. Tree is getting filled up with festive bits and bobs. Kate, get a florescent pen or paint and turn the handle of your scraping tool into something you can see all the way down the beach. Lol ! Love and Blessings to You and Yours!

The lion's head with the holes in it makes me thing of a door knocker. The holes would accept a ring with the knocker part on it. The ring is usually in the lion's mouth, but it's very close to that.

The ornament is a soup tureen lid handle, that turned out really great as an ornament. It looks like an 1800s French Limoges handle I THINK, but I am good at being wrong sometimes lol. Just think of all the tureen's that had broken tops that could have made ornaments. Now when I see someone mudlarking and they come across one I will comment for them to see yours. I would say I see at least 1 in every other video I watch lol I watch lots of mudlarking videos they are my Sunday entertainment during the winter. Tom, Martin Zero, Si, Adam, Nicole, Alex, Phil, Willie, The Johnson's, Andrew, Mark, Julie and I save the Mudpies for Sunday also and I know I am missing one or two lol I am just going by memory. And yall of course lol My Sundays are mostly spending time with the UK lol. 29:43 looks like jet ski tub hahaha Hope you have a marvelous Christmas

I think the little bit of jewellery with garnets in will be stunning Kate, great beads Fleur, you two are the bead Queen's. Are most of the black beads and cabochons Victorian mourning paraphernalia? The pipe is lovely, never seen one like it. I think your second chain was a basin or bath chain, I remember the style as a kid. (That was a very long time ago!) The black lion/maybe dog was impressive. Love seeing you use milliput, you introduced me to it and I have used it now ever since within my art work and woodwork, and even in restoring old vintage cameras. Best tip ever.

You could paint part of the handle of your tool hot pink, lime or something similar. Repairmen do that to their tools so they won’t loose them.

I love that beach! So much pottery and odds and bobs. Right at the beginning there was a piece of dark green patterned glass that was shaped like a wing. I love the stuff you pick up from there. Fabulous tree decoration! Are you allowed to say where this beach is? It’s normally a guarded secret!

Happy Mudmas again. So many treasures. I would have kept the very round rock. I have a white one that looks very like a chicken egg, but it is heavy. I don't think its one of the porcelain ones that are actually made for fooling chickens.
