I applaud the Sherd Stories idea, although the subject this time was very depressing. I've always enjoyed having pottery/porcelain pieces featured in their own separate clip, such as what the West Country Mudlarks do. 😍😁 There are so many stunning patterns to be found. Great video, ladies. Congrats on more beautiful beads. See you next time. 😊🥰💛👍

They still used some of the old workhouses for homeless families well into the nineties and they still weren't very nice places to be and the attitude with which the people and families hadn't changed much either.

Because of all the wonderful goodies you get to find, storing, and the way you display it is also very important. I can imagine how much fun you would both get rearranging your shelves, displays areas and cupboard displays, that’s also half the fun. That’s where I get most of my fun, rearranging and displaying my treasures. One day, if your game enough, would love to see how you display all your treasures, display areas, shelves treasure cabinets, display rooms etc.. That would be an absolutely treat and I bet truly wonderful ❤️❤️

Fab lark ladies. Some very interesting finds. Some so old its a wonder that they survive at all. Love the history bits you research. As i do on my other favourite larkering channels. That sobriety badge was a very different find, which is great. You never can tell what will turn up next. The seas been collecting all sorts for as long as creatures walked the earth. Anythings possible to wash up on the shore eventually A lovely start to a new year of hunting for treasures. Shame you were feeling so crook Kate. Get better soon. Xx

I look forward to seeing your mourning bead necklace. It will be beautiful. The round metal ball early in your video reminded me of the fishing weights my dad uses. They clamp on to the fishing line. And, I think it would be wonderful if you made an alphabet using the single letters you’ve found on glass, or perhaps one with ceramic pieces. Feel better, poor Kate! Being sick is misery. Good idea with the sherd (or as we use to say in Africa shard) segment, look forward to some stories.

Hello from France, thank you so much for your videos, so interesting and relaxing! For your black pot: to know if it is old as Roman or Gallo-roman, you can try to put it under water in a bowl. If it makes very little bubbles of oxygen(in a few seconds) , it might be Roman or older. If not, it is younger. I hope you' ll understand my message with my poor english. I wish you the best, and a better health for Kate. 😊
