You have shown me how you coped with loss - “it’s only so much a person can take”, the need to bounce back - “carry on” and in doing so made real the lives we share as a humanity. Our timing, our mistakes, our lessons learnt. In sharing your organic experiences, I’ve clung on and relished your company, envied your mother daughter time together which to me is the REAL GEM and wholeheartedly wish for you your bucket list finds in the most magical of moments. As for THAT pipe, you’ve tantalisingly glimpsed it and it’s yours in memory. Treasure your time together as I do treasure your time sharing them with me ❤️🩹

With all love and respect, I've decided to call you both 'Mudwombles'. I'm sure Fleur will get the reference and realise its a big compliment. Big love to you ladies from New Zealand - where our short history and low population means there are very few ancient forgotten objects to be found. Thanks for making my day brighter.

That opening sequence of the wild flowers and the swans was absolutely beautiful! Sad that you missed out on that pipe Kate; we were trying to egg on the tidal spirit to reveal the pipe again! It just may pop up when next you go there again. All the other lovely finds certainly helped to offset your bad luck.

That pretty blue light bulb or insulator thing you found should be a bowl for a bird bath. Your mom found glass like a bird that would look perfect sitting on edge. It just needs a base to it. Maybe a bottle stop upside down.

Hello ladies, That was a marathon mudlark if there ever was one? But lots of lovely finds, like the pretty green glazed hobby, the chicken head, the round medallion (?) with the initials in the center of an elegant starburst…. But I must have blinked when you were talking about losing a Victorian head pipe ? (just half). I don’t recall seeing that? Oh well, I’m really tired. I may have closed my eyes for a few moments and missed it. And I would like to thank you for popping my name in the credits for being a donor to your Patreon account! My husband was just saying you might do that since I just started doing that for you, I looked up and there it was! I was so surprised and pleased! I feel like a celebrity! 😄 My husband said now I’m one of the KZbin stars! Well…. I don’t know that I’d go quite that far, but it’s an amusing idea. I do hope your mislaid finds resurface for you once again at Gobby Beach! It’s a long shot but not impossible. I’ve seen it happen in other videos. As long as there is life, there’s hope! Many thanks, Ladies! Lauri Hyde

Wow what a lovely lot of unusual beads today and arms and legs but what a shame about the victoria pipe face. Nice different dolls head and her hair was unusual too. More 1920/30 sort of bob. The metal bit looks like it came off one of those flick knives they used to have. A good haul in two days. Stay safe and don't get stuck in the mud. Loved your ring Kate with the acorn on it.
