As a utd fan, i have to admit i absolutely love Maresca's direct honest approach. His communication is clear & no doubt he is stamping his authority on the squad. Whilst i back ETH at Utd, unfortunately he does lack personality & his communication style is non commital...it leaves the players room to drag their heels.. Maresca reminds me of a hybrid between Mourinho & Conte in terms of his direct approach & dealing with the media. You can see he only wants to win. I've a feeling the fear factor he is creating will see Chelsea pulling off some big results this season...

Enzo is basically saying what I've been saying about Mudryk for a while. He has been one of the biggest victims of the constant manager swap, as he always needs a bit more time than the others to know what to do in a game. Noni and Palmer have to come back and rule that right side similar to last season. They both make each other better and prevent the opposition from double teaming every time. I would hope that KDH and Neto could do something similar on the other side. The all left footed attack. I don’t like Nkunku and Palmer starting together. I’d prefer they share their minutes. Similar with Lavia and Caicedo. Further forward Enzo and KDH. Lavia and Felix etc.

I think if Chelsea want to win games, better not to play Enzo further forward because he doesn't have it in his game to play on the box and dont have a good shooting.
@florme64942 ай бұрын
@@footballfan5048 yeah, I personally think for the team KDH is the best player. He can see a pass, shoot, energy, dribble, play between the lines, run behind the defence, he can play the dual 6 and 10 roll, has pace and tenacity. I’m still to see if he can cut it in the PL, but the attributes are there. This is not because I hate Enzo, he just needs to start a few games on the bench until he deserves a spot.
@footballfan50482 ай бұрын
@@florme6494 I mean Enzo is fine to play but Maresca needs to find ways to utilise him to create lots of chances from midfield instead of asking him to run to channels since it's not his game and then adapt all the other players to know how to play when Enzo is around because it should be different. I think it's great for tactical flexibility, it just means that it's a challenge for Maresca to figure it out and drill into the squad to be flexible across multiple tactical setup. But I see Maresca was learning quickly so far. Always some changes in each games learning something from the past games.

As for Mudryk, some players have a very difficult time with uncertainty and constantly changing managers is not helping him, as well as all the other players he is competing with in the squad. He still has not settled. That said, the EPL may not be the league for him. I'm not a Chelsea fan. I actually support another London Club (think RED). What the EPL did in forcing the sale of the club and creating this mess is criminal, however, and I really feel for Chelsea fans as they had a solid club under Abramovich. Mudryk has so much potential! He just needs the confidence to be more decisive in the final third

Sell him to arsenal for 5 million and Arteta will make him into a star he deserves a big club and real fan support like havertz then he will thrive. Personally love what Maresca and Todd are doing. Def on a mission to destroy Chelsea and send them back to mid table this is fantastic for all football fans who were tired of these plastics yapping when Roman Daddy was around . Enjoy conference league 😅😅😅😅😅
