This is a common problem faced, so you are definitely not alone. But I also need to add that your ability to say something about a subject will be greatly helped by reading. There is no short cut I am afraid. You will need to do some reading on different topics. Have a list of topics that you would want to read about - for instance pollution. Then start reading about it. Introduce yourself to the words related to the topic as well. You will see that you will slowly improve. Good luck.
