RIP Mufasa 😞💔🙏🏾. I’m actually excited for the movie to come out! The only commentary I have is making the color saturation of the animals a bit better and not so washed out, also sticking to the story of them being biologically brothers, but the people who don’t like it/hating on it are the same ones hating on the new “The Little Mermaid” 😒, but I’m excited for sure!!!

I agree, it’d be cool if they did a Spirit kinda thing. It was animated, but instead of having the horses talk, they had the main’ character’s voice narrating his thoughts in the background. As well as amazing music to really show the emotion.

Think about it , simba doesn't see rafiki till he becomes an adult lion , how could rafiki be telling him that story when technically the last time simba would be able to see rafiki, mufasa was still alive. Technically it's still possible for him to have heard the story while mufasa was alive , but he definitely only meets tim and pumba after he dies and they sorta adopted him for the time being . That cub is Kiara simbas daughter being told the story of her grandfather and great uncle scar . Just wanted to correct u guys on that little fact lol

Just watched the trailer for the first time with y'all. I don't hate it! I don't think they learned their lesson with the photorealism issue we had with the Lion King remake. 🙄 I would like to see it, but I can't say I'm 100% excited, so it's like a 40/60 chance I'll actually make it to theaters vs watching it on Disney+.

So...while you were kids, none of you thought it was weird for two brothers to fight like that in the first movie. Now we have an enjoyable story built on that. It doesn't change the roles of the characters in any way.

I'm choosing to think that this new story does not line up with the animated one because no matter what he was the bad guy🤷‍♀️in the animation...I'm gonna say the live action movies are for the writers taken their own twist on the story like a alternate ending or beginning in this case but we shall see

I think they don’t like that Disney released old books where mufasa and taka were blood brothers and now they’re changing it which makes mufasa not look worthy and possibly change other things like how taka became scar etc.

Disney didn't release those books. Disney wasn't even aware that the books even existed until they were brought to their attention. The books are all practically just serialized fanfiction.

there. you have why people will be tired of WD, Scar is the Bad and Good Guy depending of the movie. Like a Police Stuff. Bad Guy remember me to see the honest traileur of the Lion King (the none live action one) who is really funny and smart about the Lion King.

How could he be telling simba the story when mufasa was still alive that wouldn't make sense . Pumba Timon and rafiki are telling simbas daughter Kiara the story
