It is advisable to use baking soda itself for this recipe. This will yield 12 small muffins.

Hi i made this just now and it tasted delicious.. i had 1 issue.. i added 21/2bananas so my cupcakes were too soft and shrinked its size.. is it bcos of extra banana?

The excess moisture in the batter is the reason for shrinking. Since you have added a bit more of banana the moisture content might have varied. To avoid this you may either reduce the quantity of milk a bit or reduce the quantity of the banana and please watch the video for the exact consistency of the batter. In the recipe I have used small variety of bananas which is shown in the video. In case you have used the larger variety you may reduce the quantity accordingly. Hope this was helpful. Yes I have used paper cups, you may also use a cup cake mould. Its fine I have been using them for years.
