Hassan and Hussain are like twins. If Hussein were in Hassan's place he would make a similar treaty with Muawiyah.. and this is why Hussein respected the peace treaty even after Hassan's death. If Hassan were in Hussein's place, he would similarly oppose the forced allegiance to Yazid.. and this is why Hassan's children accompanied hussein to karbala.. Study the change in circumstances to understand the actions of the twins. They were both applying the prophet's teachings perfectly. The same prophet who made a peace treaty at Hudaibiyah came back with an army when the treaty was broken by his enemies. If you wish to know why the courageous Hassan declared peace and why the wise Hussein declared rebellion against the tyrant.. just study the circumstances! The prophet s.a.w said in a well known saying.. "Hassan and hussein are leaders of the youth of paradise" (sahih)

Purely for the fact that people who claimed to be Muslim massacred the prophets saw family as. No matter sunni or Shia that’s enough to change perspective on Yazid and Muawiyah. Mufti’s anthropological analysis of Karbala shows the importance and reality of mourning. In my opinion all Muslims should take part in this even if it is romanticised as it provides perspective on the oppression Muslims have faced.

@Shaun Shaikh the prophet preaching Islam itself was considered a rebellion. Ur wrong there. The Makkans heads all condemned the prophet for preaching. The only reason he left was because Abu Talib RA passed away and his protection was gone. He then went to Madina formed an army and went to war with the very same Makkans... Rebellions are permitted when the ruler is corrupt and unfit to lead.

very rational, logical and balance view of Karbala. No doubt it was the biggest tragedy of Islam which was an ultimate outcome of a series of events happent earlier. Thats why I'm hold a strong view "Keep religion seperate from politics". You see there was no conflict/difference of opinion in the matter of Deen. All differences were political but ended up creating an ocean of difference in Deen.

@Zaid Hussein and ibn Abbas had a lengthy discussion.. Don't jus listen to the begining of their discussion where ibn Abbas feels Hussein is facing danger.. Try instead to read the whole discussion.. Hussein's understanding of the situation was deep and wise.. Read about it in detail and find out how many sahaba supported Hussein's mission (including ibn Abbas and Umm Salamah the mother of the believers) The tyrant had to be faced before he corrupts the whole story of Islam.. Hussein saw this earlier than his contemporaries.. If Hassan were in Hussein's place, he would do the same as Hussein did.. just the way hussein respected the treaty of Hassan with muawiyah before muawiyah broke it. Try reading more about hussein from people who understand both the spiritual and the political part of his movement. The prophet s.a.w says,, the best of jihad is saying the truth against a tyrant افضل جهاد كلمة حق عند سلطان جاءر The prophet s a.w also says, Hassan and Hussein are the leaders of the youth of paradise

the things that stands apart is there was no shura after Abu Bakr, just direct appointment of Umar, same thing for Uthman, a group of seven is selected to elect and then Ali appoints no one? How can the last religion of God come without clear guidance and instruction for leadership? Especially when that leadership announces decrees such as banning Hadith writing, preservation of the Quran and other critical edicts that will have an enormous effect on Islam. Even the way we wash our arms in Wudhi is consistent and OCD yet leadership is open to the whims of whoever is in power? As far as Uthman's nepotism, it is what it is, not appointing competent governors just relatives. If you're going to represent the final religion of God on earth I would at least expect some sort of Justice with such decisions.

@flowerh691

Its the fact that the majority of sunnis have been told lies and deceived into it being a shura or some sort of ‘fair’ democratic voting system when thats far from the truth. Also it would make sense if the Prophet pbuh appointed Abu bakr himself to be be his successor and then Abu bakr appoints the next person after him- like you said about nepotism. Because then that would be an order from Allah with no mistakes, and then we would not have corrupt rulers like yazid. But this was not the case. Therefore Islamically such thing does not work. It is not logical to keep Islams fallible successors up to the people. Allah has always left previous prophets with divinely chosen successors, it is the sunnah of Allah to choose who would succeed. It was never just up to people.

Caliph and Imam are different. Truth is Ali is the first Imam and rightful first Caliph but Abu Bakr was literally the first Caliph. And then the other 3 Caliphs after him were the Caliphs. It cannot be denied. So yes you can believe in both and you can't hate either. Ingeneral you have to hate those that are enemies and undermine the status of Imams and the responsibility of a Caliph. Meaning yazeed was caliph but he did not do justice to his given and appointed responsibility. He killed the Imam. The other 3 Caliphs were not in warfare with Imam Ali (AS) and that should speak volumes.

@Shaun Shaikh You need sources, but also look at the muslim population, especially in Sufism were both the Calpihs and the Imams are respected greatly, imo thats the best way to go as it avoids dispute. Qandeel is right imo
@qandeeltariqshah6552
@qandeeltariqshah6552 3 жыл бұрын
@Shaun Shaikh this is politics and spirituality have to be separated. All I know is that winners write history. Truth is always silenced. And we need to aim for what is the best for the community. And you asked for sources. And like there are 2 things that came to mind. One was the 3rd Caliph was being attacked by the people and Imam Hassan (AS) and Imam Hussain (AS) were sent to guard the door to his house. And the 3rd Caliph was later found murdered. So respect for the political authority is implied there. Another issue is that ever since the verses came down when lady Aisha was being slandered because she was left behind by accident and returned late at night. To silence the people because they were always agitators and those that followed the Prophet (PBUH) but only to at times test and trouble him. Imam Ali (AS) said to tell the people you will* divorce her but after the divine revelations. Lady Aisha and her father since then have been at odds with Iman Ali (AS) for even mentioning divorce. But truth be told that Lady Aisha and Umar's Daughter had upset the Prophet (PBUH) numerous times and almost ended up being close to getting divorced. These are personal sentiments that got twisted and politicised. And these things do not matter to muslims now because they are not political matters. The only thing to take from this event is the 4 witnesses to prove slander. And we can see in current times how it is used so disgustingly. That a rape victim has to bring forth 4 witnesses to prove her pain and yet she still gets punished. The 4 verses were not meant to be used like that at all ! It was to be used as if you are accusing a person if sin. Especially Zina then 4 witnesses should come forward and say so. Islam started out as a social reform and this is why the Caliphs literally have had more power and money and influence. Because it something that any man can manage. But Imamate is about knowing hidden knowledge. They were incharge of spirituality more so then political or social or economic control.
@qandeeltariqshah6552
@qandeeltariqshah6552 3 жыл бұрын
People can make mistakes and under pressures elect a wrong leader/Caliph. But Prophethood and Imamate have always been chosen by God alone. We need to then set our worldly and social affairs in order so we can then work on and improve our spirituality and then be able to recognize the true divine guidance from the real divinely chosen people. We cannot see truth when we are in turmoil within ourselves. And I believe there is no exact names to be said to call out the enemies of Islam. There is satan, abu lahab and there is yazid. So we need fight against people who fall under the umbrella of their treacherous ways and cruelty. We must be against evil and dispell it so we can know what the truth. But we need to humble ourselves and realize only God now can tell us what's evil and truth. I believe sense of right and wrong is the real Quran and it is in all our hearts. Issues with bad leaders is that they corrupt the souls of their followers. They make their followers act in ways that in normality they would have never. I am inclined towards Shia-ism now but literally I never seen anything were they curse the Sahabas. It makes no sense. They believe the hadiths on somethings are not accurate and that goes for their own books too. So they discard it. This is why they are also open to discuss and even encouraged to seek out about other religions and their teachings. Like in the past Prophets and imams and walis can be in any place and time and of any religion. We have much to learn from one another.

Ubay the Govenor of Kufa was a tyrant and he would not allow any Kufans to help Hadrath Hussain R. A. and his party. Killing Muslim bin Akheel and the person who helped him was Tortured is a proof that Ubay would not allow the Kufans or ( Shia to Ali) to help Hadrath Hussain’s party. The Kufans or Shia to Ali were threathened and forced not to help Hussain, So how can you miss this fact and simply accuse the Kufans for not standing up for Hadrat Hussain. If only Sunni Scholars admit this fact and stop accusing the Kufans then the whole narration will be so balanced and factual. Why do Sunni Scholars just use the accusation and make the oppressed Kufans or Shia to Ali look so mean and treacherous. I am Sunni and will protest this point of narration in Karbala’s sad Event. If Kufans were not threatened and Ubay had not killed Muslim bin Akheel ( Hussain’s cousin and the person who gave shelter to him was not tortured ) My 100% assessment is that they would have helped Hadrat Hussain. So Sunni Scholars please stop and look into Ubay’s Brutal behaviour towards Kufans and mention this point rather than blaming the Kufans.

I don´t think the Kufans or any of those in the surroundings who were sympathetic to Ali and supported Husseins cause were treated unjustly. The sources already from back then clearly show that people had even before Hussein left warned or discouraged him from seeking help from the Kufans and instead asking him to turn to the Yemenis. I don´t see this as something conspiratorial or controversial to find it like this. If one wishes to think of "what ifs" it would be better to ask oneself why Hussein didn´t stay with Abdullah ibn Zubair and support him against Yazid. Imagine the combination of the grandson of Abu Bakr with the grandson of the Prophet. Given that there was discontent with Yazid and his clear inability to govern wisely, they could have been a formidable challenge to the Banu Umayya. Both militarily and politically.

Salooni, Kabla ant’afkadoonee” “ask me, ask me before you miss me!” Why did he say that? Because he has already been endowed with this wisdom He has been endowed with this knowledge for you and I to follow But he is not just a man of wisdom… He is a man of action You and I brothers and sisters should be muslims of action The name of Ali Ibn Abu Talib is ‘Sha’er Allah’ It is Dhikr!Dhikr of Allah. A lot of historical issues in Mufti's presentation here ... for example al-Harra and the uprising of Madina came after Hussayn's martyrdom, it was one of the less talked about things which led to it. And of course that "the Shia" were the ones responsible is nonsense. There were many factions and tribes in Kufa ... it was a very complicated situation. But could you ever imagine Umar ibn alKhattab agreeing with Mufti that Yazid, the ruler at the time, was _not_ the most responsible? ... Never. Could almost hear Umar frown
@QuranicIslam
@QuranicIslam 3 жыл бұрын
@Dhuku 10 Do you know who these "Kufans" are? Do you know which tribes lived there? Who their leaders were? What links they had? Who were their influencers? What was their history up to that point? Who were they allied with? What were the family connections? What messages they sent out? etc ... There were over 20'000 people minimum living in Kufa, and they weren't all the same. Generally there were 3 groups 1- sincere supporters who wanted to and would have supported but we're prevented. Ibn Ziyad had blocked the city and had soldiers on all the roads leafing out and declared a curfew. They also never thought, like most, th st Hussain would actually be killed. They saw the current situation as lost and hoped there would be another and a chance and opportunity. These later rose up in rebellion and vengeance in the movement of am-mukhtar and his "army of the repentant" because they saw that they should have tried to reach Hussain even if they had been killed. We know which tribal leaders and influencers and which people belonged to this group 2 - weak supporters who wanted to but made excuses for themselves and were cowardly. They never rose up later nor were they ever truly fully committed supporters, they lacked the determination and were those who wanted to and would support, but only so long as others did first. Again, we know who these were. 3 - those who wanted/invited Hussain to come so they could and did betray him and in order to gain favour with Banu Ummaya. More often these were the leaders of the tribes who were worldly and wanted power wealth and position, and because the mentality was still incredibly tribal at the time, their tribes obeyed them. And yes we know the names of these hypocrities too. And of course dividing them into just 3 groups is to keep it simplistic. In reality every tribal group was different in some way. Some even wanted to support Hussain fully but in the hopes of receiving positions of honor in his Caliphate once established. These were few because it was known that Hussain, like his brother and father before him could not be induced to favouritism, so most of this ambition wanted to ingrain themselves with Mu'awiya's son. So it isn't that simple as just throwing out "in general the Kufans never intended" to support Hussain. There were factions who did, factions who didn't, and various degrees in between.. And for a time Muslim bin 'Aqeel had a lot of power and had established a base, and took bay'ah from thousands ... but the afore mentioned group 3 betrayed him and them to seek favour with the Ummayads, group 2 then became fearful and weakened and group 1 were prevented, held hostage directly or by proxy of their families or killed. Take a lesson from the Sahaba who fought at Badr, Uhud and Khandaq ... they weren't all of one level or mind in support of the Prophet against Quraysh. The Qur'an gives us the full picture rather than the rosy one of Hadiths and Seera; some were cowardly, some turned their backs and ran, some didn't want to fight, some were in kahoots with Quraysh, some left the battlefield, some listened to the hypocrities, some were closer to kufr than emaan, even the true believers became split into two groups because of them, some disobeyed when they saw "what they loved", some wanted the dunya while others the aakhira, some kept running not caring about anything even while the Messenger was calling them back, etc etc To paint all the kufans with the same brush just means one thing; you haven't truly studied the situation and don't know the most relevant players nor their histories, backgrounds and motives.
@QuranicIslam
@QuranicIslam 3 жыл бұрын
@Dhuku 10 No, on the whole "they" weren't. Some of the leaders were. And it only takes a few inside traitors to destroy a movement. Information is power and just a few betrayers to an enemy can cause great loss Your "oh what a surprise" remark about the Kufans and Kufa just shows that you've swallowed the Ummayad propaganda against that city and which seeped into the mentality of the scholars in the same way extreme "anti-Shia" views did, whereas Nasibis were ignored. Kufa and the Kufans had in fact the most vestiges and remains of true Islam, and they never all rolled over and gave up to the tyrants like the rest of the Ummah, including Madina, did. They fought on for Islam both physically and intellectually. True fiqh started in Kufa, three (really more) of the seven Qur'an recitations came from Kufa, the founder of true Hadith studies via jarh and ta'deel, Shu'ba's school, was in Kufa ... that and more. All because Kufa was the last seat of the Khilafa al-Rashida, Ali gave over 500 khutbas there, and before him they had been taught and learnt from another of the great sahaba, Abdulla bin Mas'oud. So don't be so naive and realise that history is written by the victors who vilify those who stood against them. The victors were the Ummayads. There is no "putting simply" such a complicated history, and definitely not with propaganda.

After Dr Israr's explanation of Karbala, I think Mufti's give a good overview of the historical context. I've also seen Dr TUQ's version, but he doesn't explain the background, but rather just talks about it from an emotive point of view about the death. Must take a lot of research to give the background of the event, rather than play on emotions of the awaam.

So did I understand correctly Mufti Abu Layth? You praise and admire the son of Abu Sufyan, who was one of the biggest enemies of Islam and the prophet (pbuh)? Let us not forget who his mother was. Hind ate the liver of the prophets uncle. Yazid was insane and made a massacre on the Ahlulbait (a.s). So, just looking on the people who gave birth to Muawiyah and the guy who is his son, you can clearly see that this guy is definitively someone who should not be considerd a sahaba or a just person. Mufti, I respect you. As a shia I do not only respect you but the whole sunni community. But you should definitely do more research. If we Muslims do not accept our black and bloody history, we are doomed to repeat this bloody history. And thats what I see today. I find it horrible that some sunni people doesn't care about the early beginning of islamic history. Whatever went wrong at that time, people are rejecting it and saying everything went fine and it was paradise. And if there are undeniable facts like kerbala, some sunnis just don't want to be confronted with that. It's sad.

Do you understand the difference between rightly guided caliph and a tyrant ruler. How easily you undermined the efforts of Hazrat Ali to bring things on right track? If Hussain had given the bayah to yazeed then his rule would have been legitimise. Karbala is one of the many tragedies that followed from the fact that there is no clear instruction or frame work given by the Quran or the Prophet on how to attain political power, how to exercise it, power sharing, the structure of a state, what its goals are, how to hold it to account, how to transfer that power once the time comes and what the role is of the individual in relation to this political power (what we today refer to as civic identity, which is equality infront of the law in regards to both rights and obligations). Instead this seems to have been left to the people with only the guiding light of the princples of the Quran and the analysis of the various riwayaat of Hadith and Sira and Sunnah in general. Which of course is all a human exercise in interpretative analysis and deduction. Some might say this lack of clarity and structure as mentioned above is an oversight or even a mistake on the part of the Prophet and God, if one believes both to exist and have any such role to begin with. But another perspective on this is that it may have been not just a mercy but actually a very astute and wise decision to not fixate or exactly dilineate these processes and concepts making them the only option for the forseeable future of planet Earth if you are Muslim. Yes. The principles are there and can be derived from the Quran and if guided by these Quranic principles, the Sunnah/Hadith can support this process. But what exactly comes out of this process is very much guided and determined by the people, who they are and the times they live in. So in that sense, avoiding to chisel into stone as it were an exact process and structure of what an "islamic" society governed by political power with individual members/citizens should look like, with no leeway, no room for accomodation or flexibility in the light of realities such as differences in culture, ethnic/religious composition, in neighbours, in geography, in financial or material standing or in the light of natural disasters or other calamities and so on is actually a very important ability to have.

@@safinahighschool2179 It is not that clear cut, Safina High School. Not at all. If it were, we would not be having these kinds of discussions today. The matter is neither clarified nor resolved when consulting the Quran and the Prophets sayings and doings. Even now, among the Shia, the idea of political power is not universally agreed on. You have those who abide by the Velayet-e-Faqih and you have those who say that such rule is only reserved for the Imams. Given that the 12th went into occultation or hiding if you are from the twelvers, those who object to V-e-F say simply that there is no 13th Imam named Khomeini or 14th named Khamenei. So rest assured, the matter of political power and the relation it has to the subjects I listed is not clarified by God or the Prophet even when you involve the claimed Imams as a third party source or continuation of the Imamate of the Prophet. Have you come about this certainty about the matters you mention by your own careful scrutiny of the sources or have you been given this information? I would appreciate you sharing this. Many of the Muslims of that era actually began to rally around Abdullah ibn Zubayr in Mecca. The reasoning presented here is that perhaps Hussein should have seen a brighter future in remaning with ibn Zubayr in Mecca. As Abu Layth states, there were several instances recorded that people close to Hussein told him not to go. There were many who were displeased with Yazid and his rule and given a figure from the household of Muhammad supported by the grandson of one of the most important Sahaba could have meant a very real political challenge. Instead, things unfolded very differently.

@Shaun Shaikh Based on my reading of this part of early islamic history, it is clear the real opposition as in the most organised and motivated was found in Mecca. Medina too was seething at the Banu Umayya. That´s where the resistance should have formed and had the most likely chance to succeed. If the Kufans were serious about getting rid of the Umayya, the rise of Mecca followed by Medina under the leadership of Hussein, seconded by ibn Zubayr would have been the signal for their own uprising. One needn´t be a political genius to make this qualified guess. Typically this is exactly how such uprisings occurr. To leave your powerbase and safe haven like Hussein did and wander with a small contingent towards your enemies powerbase is not sound. Neither politically nor militarily. Kufa was in the firm hands of the Umayya led by that cruel and power hungry governor of theirs. He had already subdued Basra in the harshest and cleverest of ways. He was not an unknown. There was this aspect of underestimating your enemy too. The despair the Meccans felt at Hussein leaving is, in my opinion, the forgotten tragedy. He was their only realistic cause. I mean ibn Zubayr was the grandson of Abu Bakr but Abu Bakrs oldest son was still alive. His claim to the "Throne" would have been far stronger than the grandson, who also was the grandson on his mothers side which to the Arabs of the time was not as strong as being so on the fathers side. So I find claims, mentioned in some sources, that he was coveting the Caliphate for himself to be highly dubious. Even more so if Hussein was by his side in Mecca. It would make far more sense to bolster Husseins claim, as being the grandson of the Prophet who´s father also had been the Caliph weighs far more. There really is no comparing them. So ibn Zubayr would have been by Husseins side. But what did Hussein do? Well, AL Memon mentioned "naive". I think that would be a good start to describe what Hussein decided to do. End of the day, what does one learn from this history and what are the takeaways for todays situation? This is a far more important and pertinent question than discussing exactly who did what in the past.

I am new listener to you , extremely disappointed with your analysis, the fact you are giving benefit of doubt to Yazid LA, who slaughtered the prophet’s family, a very irrational analysis from a rational Alim , not sure why our Sunni brothers continue to defend people who systematically slaughtered prophet’s family. I pray that one day you will do some further research and change your mind, may Allah bless you , I still love you !

@@noumanqureshi8489 , From your writing I understand you are a sectarian sunni. There's no a single letter of the brother that says someone should be cursed or to be insulted. Mufti says r.t.a. after the names of those who "islamised" for personal gains. And the brother said L.A. after the same names. Hold your decision.

I have no problem with people wearing earrings but a mufti really? Lol.. some mufti he is trust me he’s doing more bad than good

@Sam E I’ll need source of hazrat Hussein wearing earrings Abu Hurayrah said: The Messenger of Allaah cursed men who wear womens clothes and women who wear mens clothes. (Reported by Abu Dawood in al-Sunan, Kitaab al-Libaas, Baab fi libaas al-nisaa). On this basis, it is not permitted for men to wear earrings or nose-rings. The kinds of female adornment known among Quraysh and others includes earrings, bracelets, anklets and bangles worn on the upper arm. The point is that these are known as forms of womens adornment since ancient times. Also it mentions imam Malik wore earrings as a kid when he wanted to be a singer.. we don’t know if he took them off as an adult when he came towards Islam I want to know what it means when you say black magic occurs but not in a folkloric way?

Neither. With all due respect to Mufti, his discourse on Karbala and the Sunni love and reverence for the Ahl e Bait AS is disappointing. If you understand Urdu then Dr. Tahir ul Qadri and Maulana Ishaq have great lectures on Karbala. I suspect Shaykh Ninowy does a great overview of Karbala from Al Bidayah Wan Nihayah but I have not watched his series myself yet, but he has expressed great love for Imam Hussain AS in the past.

@Shaun Shaikh Thank you for sharing this link. I have never heard of these people, I will definitely look into it. Glad to know more similar scholars are out there. It seems all their material is in Arabic which I unfortunately do not understand though. My impression of Farid and the SD team is that they're more interested in engaging in polemics against the Shia and they seem to have a wahhabi/nasibi trend. I could be wrong but that is my impression, and I personally don't find such an approach helpful or useful at all. The same can be said for the entire Hyde park speakers corner dawah/polemics/debate scene.

Shias loved this guy until this video was uploaded. 😬😂 Apart from that, I don't agree with Mufti in a lot of stuff, but to be fair, this might be the first time someone has explained the incident in such depth without actually going in details. You did really well. However, I do also think, even though Hussain (ra) got the political calculations wrong, it was a courageous and brave stand against tyranny. May Allah be pleased with him. ❤️

@Shaun Shaikh By political calculations, I meant trusting the Kufans who betrayed his father, Sayyiduna Ali (ra). I never said, because he got the calculations wrong it affects his status in any way. No! He's the leader of the Youth of Paradise along with Sayyiduna Hasan (ra), and nothing can change that. As mufti, if he would have joint Abdullah ibn Zubair (ra) they might have had created a big movement among the Muslims. But anyways, it happened, because Allah willed it. And to this day, his revolt remains as an act of Bravery, Courage and Truthfulness.

I can't tell the how many times I have watched this very video amongst your great educative videos. However, there's no way Muawiya and his immediate family attained the title of r.t.a. never. I strongly believe the message of Islam came to us after being destroyed by the Umayyas. With reasoning and rationality, Muawiya and his likes were never Muslims for the sake of faith.

Brother Mufti I think at times your contention become subjective and erroneous. For example the stereotype of Shia being killers finds space here too. Secondly, taking a reductionist approach on the issue of Syedna Hussain AS leaving Hijaz. Thirdly, your hypothesis that Yazid didn't want the gruesome murder to happen and discrediting his hateful comments on the martyrdom of Imam Hussain AS. I mean his couplets have been recorded by historians of both formative and classical periods. Also, brother Shias don't use Muharram to curse sahaba and so called sahabas(being the difference of opinion between two sects).

I have few queries: 1. Zain ul abideen has wrote two books and none of these books address a single page regarding karbala 2. Ibn Ishaq produced first history of Islam and no word regarding karbala 3. Hurr who was used to write diary on daily basis and is famous for leaving Yazidi army and Joined Imam Hussain Army or group have not wrote a single page in his diary regarding karbala 4. There is Mutaa Imam Malik behind you, can you please share a single Riwayat from that regarding Karbala? Amazingly after 100s of years Ibi Mukhanaf tells a story and Tibri wrotes it in his ummal Tareekh "Tareekh Tibri"..... so can you please justify this crafted story? Also, I have studied some contents in which the killing of Imam Hussain Rz.A is mentioned against marrying a Paarsi girl. Your response on this will be highly appreciated.

You mention that you discussed the history with Sunni schiloars but you did mention that you also discuss with Shia scholars... so having views from one side only is not doing justice as you know in case of hazarat Daood incident mention in Quran.... you are also taking islam as a political religion and not a dive religion.... so doing politics by Ameer Mavia is against theology of Islam... rather going back to Malookiat that is Kingship... plus the clver move done my Ameer Mavia to let down Hazarat Ali by his political negative moves to distrub him throughout his rule... So many negative mistakes by Ameer Mavia wont bother yoyu ??? Please read history of Yazid brought up... and his druken attitude and destrying islamic values... then why Ameer Mavia inspite of the agreement with hazarat Hassan tht he will not give rule to his son Yasid, but he did it??? I think its simple that decline of true islamic rule start ending with the rule of Ameer Mavia and so on Yasid... expanding rule or areas dosn't ... be fair to a level where it does not distrub thereality... I am bit disappointed by you on this very important topic actually where the downfall of islam started..... Open mind does not mean that you neglect the facts and saying of our Prophet.... do you believe teh Hadith that Hasan & Hussain are the sultan of Jannah ... and other hadith that are recognized by most of the factions in islam ??? I would suggest that you meeet other group as well and then make your judgement accordingly......
