Mufti ji, learnt a lof of islamic history from your videos. How abbasid and Ummayad eras were. Your video about abu dolama, reminds me of what I heard how a poet described the reasons for down fall of muslims especially after seige of baghdad. So he criticised the lavish lifestyles of muslim rulers. It does appear, that lives of those rulers lacked goals, strategies for kingdoms, and had more indulgence in luxuries, and enjoying jokes made by abu dolama. And of course the lack of merit and lack of purpose, which rulers probably had because they might have considered rule as a right only because they were son of King rather than how in democracies we get sincere rulers, who can be overthrown if they transgress. Coming across this lecture story and the last part talking about beating death or time reminds me of the song by the Rapper Nas's called speachless where he says "Only thing undefeated is time The second is the internet, number three is this rhyme". Brilliant!!!!
