I met the man I love at work. He literally walked into my life when I thought I was working the shift on my own. I was so nervous about doing the shift on my own that I prayed the night before that God would make it so that I didn't have to go! Instead Subhan'Allah he brought my love into my life! We clicked instantly and I truly believe that we are meant to be married. We are both in our 40's and divorced. I never thought I would fall in love with a Muslim man because I never interacted with many before the day I met him. I pray that God will make a way for us to be married insha'Allah 🙏🏻 I am educating myself on Islam and know that it is permissible for us to marry and I just pray that his family will accept me 😳 My Father died when I was 21 so the situation is very different from a couple who are younger. Remember 'it's not you vs your spouse, it's you and your spouse vs the actual problem'. Look at or search the real actual problem and control both your emotions at the moment. Communicate (always with respect, both sides). Then pray together. Don't get an divorce for something you could fix. May Allah swt put so much barakazh in your marriage. May Allah help you both.

Marriage is about forgiving and accepting the positive and negative .. and our children are example showed by Allah SWT how we were at their age . There is something .. we always talk nicely to our parents , friends , and relatives but to not our spouse.. we raise our voice scold and argue all the time .. but those people were not around when we needed the most but our spouse will be there for us . I love this brother for the pleasure of Allah swt. Marital problems and advice is so difficult in the western world as people only see someone when they have decided on divorce.. I looked for arbitration and found it unaffordable. Marrying a revert and having non Muslim in laws pose so many problems especially on kids that you just don't know what to do. Sadly I fall into the third category and make maximum sacrifices to keep my young children in a stable family. I get blamed for oppression but am the one being oppressed.. But have to keep altering and changing my stance to keep a stable family. Sad though that one day when the kids grow if I live that long, they naturally would side witth their mum and I'll be left alone as I will just end up being myself and looking after my health... Subhanallah I do pray that Allah swt does not let it come to that and my wife is given rahmaat and learns to obey me and work with me as Allah swt commands

Mufti saab i am in a relationship since 7 years and we both love eachother. But her parents are just refusing because they don't want to be taunt by their relative that their daughter did love marriage. And i this case they forced her daughter to marry a boy who she didn't even see and engaged. Till now she is going to be married in few days but she even dont know who the boy is and how he looks like. Just parents know who they are. Wallah i am in a situation where we dont know what to do.
