Commissioner here, hope you all love the song. To anyone curious about why these two in particular, as opposed to other possibilities, the primary reason I picked these two are because both have innate abilities to literally make themselves untouchable. Kamui allowing Obito to phase all or parts of himself in and out of his own pocket dimension in fractions of a second, and Satoru's Infinity barrier passively blocking just about everything directed his way. I'd love to see how these two masters of battle would work around each other's nearly impervious defenses. That, and they're kinda dark reflections of each other in a way; one being the mentor to the main character and best friends with the main villain, while the other was the main villain (at least for most of the series) and best friends with the main character's mentor.

@@dephony5648 if you're talking about the truth seeker orbs, I personally wouldn't count anything regarding the 10-tails jinchuriki/six-paths sage forms for Obito arsenal in this perspective fight, as they're not powers innate to him or that he's been trained to do, and required a lot of very specific story situations to happen. The most "unnatural" thing I could grant him is the Rinnegan he plucked from Nagato's body. If you're referring to the long range form of Kamui, I don't believe we ever saw him use that, only Kakashi, implying that version of it was tied to that specific eye. All the times Obito used it, it was just on himself or people/things he directly touched. Why would he have needed to grab Danzo's guards (which cost him an arm due to direct contact with the bugs on the Aburame one, even if for a split second) to pull them into his pocket dimension if he could've used it at range?

Now that’s a *funky* thumbnail *and* song. I gotta say that I was pretty neutral about it overall at first, but then 0:30 rolled out and I instantly loved it. It’s completely unique, absolutely nothing in any commission song that I think I can say sounded like this song even remotely and I love it. It sounds so weird yet at the same time good with this sort of synth not quite « chorus » and that « instrumental » that’s minimalist. Oh and of course this wouldn’t be an Uchiha song without a bit of Dangerous Gaze (~2:55, end of the song) even if I must say I like how it’s a much more subtle inclusion here, it’s true that this melody is great but it does limit the song a bit in its originality if it’s used as the main melody in them (proof being, if it had been the main melody here it probably would have greatly limited how the parts mentioned earlier would have sounded). Dangerous Gaze has a great melody, as said above, but there’s only so many original songs you can make with it as a main melody (I must say that I do wonder how Brandon feels about the song itself now that I say that… if he still appreciates the melody or if kinda feels « obligated » to put it in Uchiha songs now). Also I do think, but don’t quote me on that as I’ve never read/seen Naruto (yeah, everything from this point on may be complete and utter bullcrap as I’m doing an Average Twitter User moment and talking about something I barely know anything of), that it fits because I believe Obito is much more disconnected from the Uchiha clan than the other Uchihas that have partaken in commissions/OSTs in general (could also be that, if memory serves right, he also plays a sort of « character » and it is only lately revealed that this « character » is Obito. So that could be why Dangerous Gaze is only late in the song when it’s actually « revealed » that the character is Obito), that’s a nice detail overall. Either way, an incredibly original and unique song that definitely stands out among the others and that I’ll listen to quite a few times for sure. Amazing job as always. Also my condolences for your views on this song due to early upload. Here’s me hoping they won’t be *too* affected by it.

I really think you’re looking too much into it, that Uchiha melody is always great to hear and there is already so much originality in this track that it wouldn’t even matter if it was played more often, it’s such a small part of the song

Commissioner here. The reason I picked Obito instead of Kakashi was because both had innate abilities to literally become untouchable. Kakashi only managed to get a partial grasp on Kamui, while Obito had perfect control over it, to the point that he could phase individual parts of himself to avoid attacks within a fraction of a second.

I think Gojo wins 4/10 and Obito 6/10, Gojo has a lot of infinity bypasses and ways to kill Gojo, but nothing to stop hollow purple or his domain expansion, so it all comes down to who can end the fight the fastest, if we look at things here, let’s high wank them both, if Madara is moon and Obito is weaker, Obito is at highest continental, but does Gojo have a feat to surpass it? Possibly infinity before SOTP is used. Once that’s active how does Gojo stop him? Hope and pray that Obito can’t get out of the domain or survive the hollow purple, because so far Gojos best feats are his under a second activation of his domain and hollow purple effortlessly obliterating whatever is in front of it. As far as fights go his hardest opponent was Jogo who against Sukuna destroyed Shibuya with a gigantic meteor, which is massive city level, that’s still not continental, for durability a knife and gun can kill Gojo, via when Toji “killed” Gojo in their round 1 fight. Obito has durability similar to that of Madara, which can handle other six paths powers at once. Let’s be real here, Gojo doesn’t compare to a six paths sage. I love this theme and I love the characters, but just because a theme is made comments don’t need to debate who wins or “ftw” just enjoy the music.

To be fair, I was more thinking of this matchup with Obito not having access to his 10-tails jinchuriki/six paths sage forms because he doesn't have under normal circumstances. I didn't want it to be like the Madara vs Aizen fight where they both are in their "final boss" forms with powers and abilities they wouldn't have had under most cases. Obito is already strong enough without those near godlike power ups.

I’m gonna be honest but I would say Gojo would win, due to his abilities, there is no evidence that Obito could get past the Infinity while Gojo’s abilities are more destructive
