Little Simz is criminally underrated, her last two albums, ‘Sometimes I Might Be Introvert’ and ‘No Thank You’ should be held in the top echelon of hip-hop albums of all time and I really don’t say that lightly. This is set in 70’s Nigeria and is an homage to her Family (her Mum is the lady throwing money at her in the party scene). Most of her videos are shot like movies and just add the the art, her lyrics, beats and visuals are crazy 🔥

Those dudes on the road are part of a revivalist culture there. Lots of 70’s/80s revival cultures going on. They are really about that look/style/music.
