This was billed as "The Quarry Brothers vs The Soul Brothers". Jerry's younger brother Mike was brutally KOed by the great Bob Foster in the prelim and the word was that Jerry went into the ring seething after witnessing it. After this fight, Ali said that he felt that he finally had gotten his timing back after the 3 1/2 years away. Indeed, he looked great that night. It was a great night.
