Another strange story in the Koran was when Mohammed mourned the death of an Angel. Angel's cannot die . The God Most High gave the Apostle Paul a revelation on that Angel that was speaking to Mohammed in that cave . Muhammad was made up by scholars misinterpreting the writings they were assigned to collect. The many different beliefs and sects of that time were gathered together and not understanding the role of Jesus and who He is mistook one of His many names for another person that never existed before. Then they needed a backstory so they got to work in a fictional biography about some random man they called Muhammad. The years that this was happening were experiencing catastrophic weather, pestilence and famines for over a hundred years. So in order to compete with Christianity and Zoroastrianism the Arabs made up islam to conquer. The rest is their attempt at covering their false history up.

Honestly, I find such Quran passages and hadiths like this (see also Zainab's divorce and the sheep eating the Quran verse about women breastfeeding adult men) perplexing. Historicity of Muhammad aside, all of them read like an article from The Onion or The Babylon Bee, ie _someone's clearly taking the piss._ Islam is unique in terms of [recognized] religions in that its moral framework represents a near total inversion of what could easily be argued to be *human moral universals* in all other religious traditions. And while this cult was clearly started by cruel men in order to justify their cruelty, I have serious difficulty believing so many embroiled in this process (at least early on in Islamic history) were so morally craven as to simply _voluntarily_ go along with this accursed agenda. Reading passages like this, I can't shake the feeling that _at least some_ of the scribes initially transcribing them would have moral qualms about the ethics of the narratives they were required to write down. The more I think about it, it almost feels like they are trying to be tongue-in-cheek in their accounts of Muhammad, deliberately showing him to be too morally deficient in all the worst ways to actually be a prophet of any god worth worshipping. And given that they were likely being commissioned/forced by the new [M-word] tyrants of the time, such narrative treatment could be interpreted as both a subtle roasting of this supposed prophet and a warning to all sane/moral readers that this creed is insane and evil to its core. Sadly, if this is the case, it looks like not enough people got the message, and instead took such passages as moral license to commit unspeakable atrocities and depravities with a clear conscience. Returning to the aforementioned spoof newspapers, the only other scenario that seems to make any sense for these mad accounts is that someone somewhere started these rumors as a prank to see how far/serious the first Islamic leaders would take these thoroughly ludicrous accounts. @@faizraut1516 Surah 112 says Allah is ahad, which means "one of", and samad, which means a "unification". In surah 21 he says he could take a partner from "one of us" (for s-x). In surah 33, he prays for/on the the messenger, ie to another god. In the Quran, the messenger is stealthily upgraded into being his partner despite the "no partners" categorical hectorings, so surah al fatiha says one must believe in Allah and his messenger, other surahs say one is rejected if one does not obey the messenger.
