Just managed to get around to watching the footage and find myself on telly once again (I'm the guy with the Black Triumph Tiger in the car park!). That's me now famous for being on New life in the sun series 7 episode 24 and now the Haggis Whisperer!😂😂😂 Great Footage! I'll watch this space!

You make a good point about 19.5 x 9...totally makes sense...I'm almost scared to try it but its so much better on the phone . Great info, great road and content. I keep hearing about Scottish midges...puts me off going to Scotland lol
@haggiswhisperer2 ай бұрын
Thanks mate. That ratio really makes a difference I think too. August is the worst month for the midges. Best time to come up is spring or autumn.

Excellent wee video with lovely quality. Thanks for filming it. If im ever headed anywhere in Ayrshire that road is my starting point. It is my favorite road, either direction.

Beautiful roads up there. I am so jealous a lot of the time, I need to get up there for a tour on the ZZR 🏍️💨 Great idea to make the videos more visibly appealing to your mobile audience (me being one) ☺️ Loved the drone footage. Great video mate, hope you’re well.

Oh cheers for the shout out Graham & looks like either me or this road has a 10/10 with the 10:10 length! 😮🤣👍 So was it worth the wait mate,riding this road? 🤔 That was mad you meeting those 2 guys from Erskine,from what I picked up on! 😮👍 I ended up heading down here on Sunday indact & stopped exactly where you did with your drone,although I just stuck my phone on a tripod & got a me whizzing by clip! 😂✌️

Road is epic mate. 1 guy was from Erskine and 1 from Blantyre lol. I got attacked by midges where I was using the drone.

@haggiswhisperer Yup it's a peach! 👍😎 Just shows everyone from Erskine should have a biker mate from Blantyre & vice versa! 🤪✌️

A decent wee road for getting a bit of a wiggle on and the resurfacing will have made it all the more enjoyable. I watch on a tablet and I wasn't sure what to make of the new video size, at first thinking it did look quite cinematic. The crop top and bottom didn't take anything away from the viewing experience but width wise it seemed odd. It gave the impression of being ultra wide angle and yet both mirrors were never in shot at the same time. I'm simply making an observation, I'll try watching your next one on my phone.
@haggiswhisperer2 ай бұрын
Cheers gw. I set the ratio to suit mobiles at 19.5x9. Full ultra wide is 21x9 I think.

Always preferable to heading up the trunk roads if you can work it into a run. Glad to hear it's been resurfaced. It was getting bad 👍

Stunning scenery as usual mate. That’s something to behold and lift the spirits. This is what non bikers need to see and then they’ll have some understanding of how it makes us feel rather than being in the car.
