Well said. I came to this same conclusion at age 40, I 'm 69 now and much happier. I learn to love myself, enjoy my own company and entertain myself. I'm currently in a relationship that has lasted 20+ years and I cherish my alone time. After all that My dad side disowned my mom and me so I have zero connection with my dad side. I also battled with my son's grandmother for custody for years witch caused me to loose it and set off my own mental. I married a women at 26 years old that unknowingly got me hooked on drugs. I thought she was giving me sleeping pills because I had trouble sleeping and knew nothing about drugs and never took them I had NO IDEA SHE WAS GIVING ME Percocet untill oneday I became sick from not taking it then I had to take them even in the day time.
