Just in case someone hasn't already mentioned this ... there are basically two types of naeng-myun. The kind David has in this video is called "mool" naeng-myun; "mool' being the word for water. The other is just regular naeng-myun - it's the same dish, except there is no liquid (well ... maybe a little liquid once the ice starts melting). Also, naeng-myun is commonly served with red pepper paste (go-chu-jang) where the more you put in - the hotter (spicier) it gets. Lastly, at most Korean restaurants, they will bring out a pair of scissors so that you can cut up the noodles if you so desire.
