Dang dude that looks really good, I'll need to save this recipe. Spicy soup is the best for warming the soul, better than a cup of saltwater anyway 😄. One of my favorite seafood dishes is coconut fish curry with shrimp(you can use leftover bait lol). I bet it'd be killer with any fish from our area, especially Redfish. Its a good one pot meal too. Thanks for the inspiration. Might need to get me a camp stove.

I wish that I could get the courage to try kayak fishing again. In 2018 I owned a Jackson Coosa HD. I was fishing the Alabama River near Montgomery and flipped reeling in a bass in about 8ft of water and was unable to do a re entry. Had to swim to shore. Some one in a bass boat retrieved my kayak but I lost a lot of gear. I would love to do the things you do like kayak fishing and taking gear to do a catch and cook on the bank.

It can be tough after an experience like that for sure. Im fortunate enough that most of the areas I fish are less than chest deep so in the case that it does happen I’m able to stand up. A stable kayak can make all the difference too.
